This will probably be the first rift I don't finish
I honestly can't bear these challenges anymore. I find them so dull, repetitive and often just straight up frustrating. Even after making sure to log in and get all the free rift fragments, doing a good chunk of the event, etc. I guess I just didn't play enough these past couple of months.
I feel defeated.
Edit: I'm at 60. Woo.

I didn't bother with level 4 tbh
I just did all of the event challenges and used cells from the pass to skip tiers

Yeah level 4 is a doozy lol. The only thing left I really want is Meg's skirt and that's in the next tier or 2 so I'll probably give up after that

I didn't even finish 2 3 or 4 lmao. Still got to 70 2 weeks ago. I guess I just play the base game too much

Saw was mine. They’ve become utterly grindy and unfun, you have to play DbD for a living to complete these Rifts in time. Not to mention that was during the height of the cheater pandemic; I wasn’t going to waste time trying to have a fair and fun match during that.

Interesting you didn't finish as this one was really generous IMO. I don't think you have to do any of level 4 to hit 70 as long as you got some of the login bonuses, codes and did most of the event.
I know I was around 60 just by finishing level 3 with some codes and such. The event easily pushed me to 70 and that was just at the start of it.

This was actually the most painless one they've ever put out, I only have the very first tome completed and trying to catch up. Most of the survivor ones are fine but there's a lot of miserable ones, you should be able to have 2 active at once if they're from old tomes

Yeah, I swear the Rifts get grinder and grinder each time a new one comes out. The only reason why I finished this one was because of the login rewards and doing a couple of challenges in the event tome. I did a few challenges in the normal rift too, but most of my fragments we're earned via gameplay. I didn't even bother with the fourth tier.

tbh the challenges are getting more tedious and dull with each tome, especially when a tier gets you a gimmicky cosmetic or a charm that you'll probably never use, and lets be honest those charms are just filler to make the tombs longer and more grindy, in a battle pass, in a paid game with a vast catalogue of paid DLC.

I don't bother at all because I'm a free user and there is nothing worth in the free right line if they even gave bp that would be more incentive to try but after this last event....I'm in a meh place

Huh. I would have thought this one was a given because it coincided with Super Flan Party. It happens, though. I missed out on Rift 8 because I was totally burned out at the time.
Just out of curiosity, do you play survivor, killer, or both? I find the killer challenges are usually "play like you were going to play anyway" and the survivor challenges are "grind the hell out of this one thing" or "throw the game, kek." The rift's usually a lot more manageable on the killer side.

Understandable. I finished the Rift already, but I have the Tome-Challenges. And something died in me today when selecting the "Kick 50 Pallets/Generators/Walls"-Challenge.

That's not too bad tbh,it's pretty much 2 rounds on the Game
Challenges like blind/stun killer x amount of time or communicate with glyphs x amount of times are definetely more obnoxious

pretty strange since this was by far the easiest rift to finish for me. this was the first rift where i got to the end without spending any auric cells to skip levels. All the bonus challenges from the event combined with all the login bonuses should have been more than enough. the event wasn't even halfway done by the time i finished the rift myself.

The purpose of the rift is to mask how weak Killers are by forcing Survivors to do stupid things. And then while at it get some cash.
I haven´t done any rift, and I find the pop up extremely annoying.
