forced penance will finally be a good perk
with the upcoming ptb changes, endurance bodyblocking is going to be a lot more common, and that means forced penance can proc much more often. with stbfl and the lowered base hit cooldown on top of that, i'm betting bodyblocking won't be as strong as it used to be.

Yes. The time has come to punish the guilty for protecting the wicked. Let em pay the price. *heavy breathing from behind a metal hood*

I'm gonna run mad grit a lot more in my builds. I played a game in the ptb where one guy took like 3 bodyblock hits when i was trying to hook someone. The amount of hook blocks from one guy was as if 3 whole guys were taking body blocks, which is fine since nobody is doing gens...
except since it's 1 guy doing all the body blocking, 2 others are on gens.

It's already a good perk. I just won a game because of it. Survivors don't ever seem to expect it, and it hard counters a lot of bully squad strategies. I got like three extra hooks out of it, plus some survivors were too scared to bodyblock once they realized I was running it.

It’s almost like the meta is changing.

Yeah I’ve always like Forced Penance, I think it’s a little underrated. Really the one downside to it is it entices survivors to play smarter and stop goofing around trying to bodyblock you for no reason or to heal when they don’t actually need to heal. It ironically can make the survivors push the gens harder because, after all, if they can’t heal and they’re worried about following you around then what else is there for them to do other than work on a genetator?

“Finally” implies it wasn’t always good.

Forced penance/STBFL/mad grit meta plz 🙏

Forced Penance doesn't stop the Dead Hard, Mettle of Man, or Styptic.
There will still be bodyblocks, just not from healthy survivors

i don’t think endurance will stack when it does live

Pretty sure it stops the styptic

I bloody hope not, its honestly ridiculous, if it ends up still stacking, I'm just gonna guarantee people's hats explode instead of playing nice, if i see a single instance of otr being used offensively

Ok buddy, forced penance has always been good, in fact I think its really underated atm, twins are a very good user of it and slinger in some cases too, but it has never been bad.

Why use penance when you can summon the green goddess?

Because plague is a m1 (if prople are not throwing) and therefore she is easy af to loop, unlike other killers that can compete with good survivors and also apply btoken with forced penance.

Does it negate u can mend with it? Becuz if not its gonna not worth it.

Though I do think she can be a feast or famine killer, the 1 guaranteed corrupt purge pool from last buff really helped. And then there's the upcoming m1 killer buff.
Besides, if we are talking about good survivors, there's only like 2 killers that can compete and penance might as well be a meme perk on them.

Depends if the survivor used Styptic before getting hit with forced penance. But generally forced penance counters Styptic since you can't engage in the heal action while broken.

It was already explained that endurance doesn’t technically stack, it’s just that in specific circumstances you can activate another endurance effect after you already activated one.
however, if you have multiple endurance effect active at the same time, they ALL get burnt (hence them not “stacking”)

This is poetry in motion.
