Some Solo Queue tips.
Don't do Gens in buildings early on...
...Unless it's super-easy to access for both sides.
For instance: If you are, let's say Dead Dawg, you don't do main building early on. It's extremely hard for Killer to go there without some Teleporting. However, Ormond Resort, is better to do early because it's easy to access and it's in the middle.
I feel like this is something people don't think through much in their playtime. It can actually cost you a match if not considered.
Look at the HUD.
People still don't do that! Despite having Hook Counter which is super-good information. Try to bait Killer into chasing you or hide, all depending on Hook stages. Obviously, if Killer ignores you and you have not been Hooked, just slam the Gens.
Learn more about some more rare Killers and their coutnerplay.
I've seen people don't look at the ground against Hag while having Flashlight. I've seen people not try to stay in pairs against Twins. I've seen people lose like 50% of their IQ when facing Freddy for some insane reason. Seriously, learn about those more rarer Killers too. It does not hurt.
Finally, don't rely too much on Exhaustion Perks.
Improve your chase skills without running one, people are gonna jump on other Exhaustion Perk after Dead Hard changes or stay with it. However, Perks like Smash Hit or Head On are more fine to run in my opinion because they require some set-up or are more win-more Perks (Smash Hit especially).
That's all I've had to say, we can agree to disagree but I also want to make it more of a threat where others can also share other tips people don't usually give. See ya!

Should probably change the title to newbie tips as not all solo que players are low level players.

I’d add don’t immediately heal someone off hook if the killer isn’t near.
had a Feng dc cause I wouldn’t let her heal me and ran away to a far gen(no gens were being doing and I had prove) and proceeded to do a gen while she stood behind me waiting to heal. She dc’d when my gen was 80%.

The biggest overall tip I would give is this: You have to go slow to go fast.
The temptation is always to be hyper aggressive on generators, but this often puts you in a bad spot and causes 4ks. Don't double or triple up on a gen right after you load in, especially if nobody has Prove Thyself. There's zero benefit to it. Spread out and stealth a bit while you gather intel on the map/gen layout and the killer. Identify problem clusters with the gens that you need to attack early. Survivors often make a massive mistake of giving away the location of literally everyone, not finishing the gen, and also not attacking a critical gen.
The second component of this is gen greed. There's no reason for you to be anywhere near a gen you can't finish by the time the killer gets there. This is obviously different with stealth killers though. You're gaining nothing by giving the killer a head start in chase because you wanted to squeeze another 5% on a 30% completed gen. If a teammate is hooked, do the mental math. Can you finish the gen if the killer comes straight to that gen? If not, get away from it and wait to see if the killer comes over to it.
Gens will always go faster when the killer is exerting less injury and hook pressure. I promise you, taking the 15-20 seconds to be safe will consistently shave minutes off of your game speeds.

One of the best things to do, that a surprising amount of ppl dont, is use Empathy, Bond, Alert, Kindred, or any perk that can give you reliable info on whats happening around the map. I love running Empathy cuz most of the time i can tell exactly where the killer is and what my teammates are doin. Lets me know when i should slam a gen and when i need to go take some heat. Its far more than just a heal your teammates perk.

Did she had we"ll make it so maybe that pissed her off after the timer run out or she could just have challenge to heal other survivors.

This one. Because no matter how perfectly you try to perform, almost every match you'll have blending Claudette, crouching Bill, cocky Nea that dies on first hook and DC immediately, benevolent Meg which rushes to just hooked survivor and getting down under that hook, but the most frequent and our favorite: camping/tunneling every second match.
Playing survivor make me cry.

Here are some random tips from myself:
- Altruism priority: When going for hook saves/altruism in general the person who has the most hook states available should prioritise it if people are spread out. Additionally, do not hover around hooks too much if the Killer is camping. Either try to save or don't; sitting and watching is the worst thing you can do
- Heal vunerable teammates: It goes without saying that injured survivors waste significantly less time in chase, esp. against higher tier killers like Blight. Healing a death hook survivor could mean the difference between the final gens being done and the game becoming a quick 3v1 snowball
- Don't give up too quickly: I've had many soloQ games where it's going well for survs, then one dude just gives up and that's it - killer has the win handed to them. Some ppl also give up if they hit stage 2 on their first hook, even if the Killer was put in a losing position because of it.
