Hooked on you question.
I play on console, if I get the game on steam on my pc, will there be a code to get the supposed cosmetics on my console, I don’t like play on pc because I have all my progress on console, and I like collecting stuff so I hope is console players don’t miss out.

I still can't believe the Hooked on You thing isn't a joke.
I saw the segment about it on the anniversary stream and got a laugh out of it for the first 1-2 mins. Then they didn't stop talking about it. Working in IT most of my life I realize devs and coders don't always grasp social norms/interactions and things can get awkward, so I figured they were just letting the joke drag so everyone at the company that contributed something to it got their bit put in.
But it just....kept....going. Days later, still going. Weeks later, still going.
Then a Steam page pops up for it. That's when the "you have to be shitting me" really kicked in.

It might be done in a similar way as the Deathgarden cosmetics way back when. They were just added to your account because the detected you had DG in your library.
Which is to say, I don’t think you’ll be getting it on any other platform than steam for the time being.

We're looking at ways that players can buy the game on Steam and still get access to the cosmetic on their other platform where they play DbD, I don't have the full information on how that will work yet though.

I don't know if you'll ever see games like "Hooked On You" on consoles due some specific rules where some type of games aren't allowed there

There is plenty of dating games on console. I just looked now. Stuff like Dream Daddy is on PlayStation and other games that I've never heard of but it says they are dating games. I also assume Hooked on You will probably be some bare bones game.

Dream Daddy is available on PS, they could bring Hooked on You to PS as well. Can't speak for other console platforms but they can atleast bring it to one.

That's really unfortunate. While I appreciate trying to have a work around to make it so console can get the cosmetic it's is kind of a crappy work around to have them buy pc version when generally they aren't on pc because they don't have a pc to play the game. I'm sure people will do it anyway but at that point why not just put the cosmetic in store for auric cells instead of inflating the sales of Hooked on You?
