Weird...

We're currently at the stage of going through all the feedback with regards to the PTB and are in discussions with Designers on if there will be any changes.

Will be have some news soon or just when PTB ends?
1 -
It really isn’t that weird, I think usually changes would be announced in a week from now?
8 -
That's the point of a ptb... so they can decide if changes will be a disaster, good or bad for the game.
4 -
I think it's mostly for bugs lol
3 -
I really don´t like what i have seen so far...

Hopefully they've realized that what they're doing is gonna make the game super stale for survivors in regards to the way gens have been changed and things that stack as a slowdown, I'm all for the other changes to buff some things needed for killers overall but these gen slowdowns are super boring when you're holding m1 for like 100+ seconds due to things stacking and it's gonna make the game boring for survivors, I really wish they would've made a real secondary objective that's not gens or totems to also complete before you escape, I would 100x rather do a completely different objective in the trial than to sit in the same place forever holding a button.
6 -
Now u can hold for a sec and it will hold till u move.
1 -
That's not any better it's not "holding m1" that's the pruned it's that you remain practically inactive with an occasional skill skillcheck for minutes at a time instead of being more engaged.

I hope that Calm Spirit won't stay in the PTB version when the patch goes live, since it's universally agreed upon that the negative isn't worth the positives at all.
7 -
The only good parts of the PTB were the changes to Calm Spirit, Iron Will, and Spine Chill. Calm Spirit permanently removes an entire killer tracking method, for the entire game. It absolutely deserves a downside.

Lol yea but still that's just as bad it's like saying since we've put you here for so long now we're giving your button a break, I really wish BHVR would just add another objective that's required to escape and make it more interactive, then that way at least I'm doing something entertaining with the extra time that's being added into the trial
1 -
Really no difference if you genrush in 80 or 100 seconds.
0 -
But it is when slowdowns can be stacked to the point the gen takes like 130 seconds, and then you're not considering if you get pushed off the gen, I'm not saying that the old gen times were fair I'm just saying they needed to add something else to go along with gens that isnt gonna feel like repair simulator, if they want to give more time to the trial we should be doing something other than sitting there its just stale.
2 -
Valid. Touche young man 😏

But it is a repair simulator. You repair gens to be able to escape.

Actually no...
Would you hand kids in a nursery some kitchen utensils and batter power tools to "see what needs fixing"? No because it should be obvious what is wrong before doing it.
This PTB had concerns and obvious floors before it was even released. The point of a PTB is test useful and progressive final ideas/designs... not things obviously broken... otherwise there is no point in testing. It's like being handed a power drill with no bit and no motor and then being told to give feedback... it's a waste of time.
"We noticed survivors using second chance perks the most and it became a new meta, so we want to it change up and see new meta's, so here is even more second chance perks"... like seriously... you for real?
I hope lessons are being learned on multiple levels otherwise it seriously does not look good.

So you want me to say that a 30% debuff to basically all other "side objectives" is a perfect downside for a Perk that makes you a bit stealthier? It literally doesn't do anything to chests, it still does make the loud sound when you open it, so good luck stealthing with that.
Booning in the Killer's face is a terrible idea, since they can just snuff it right away, also it doesn't make the boon totem silent. So the only use for this is to boon totems near the Killer (if you don't do that what's the point of making it silent?), but the Killer can still hear the boon when it activates, so you just wasted extra time for nothing.
I can only see it being useful for cleansing hex totems that aren't really that visible (so on different floors / behind stuff), otherwise it's completely useless and you're better without it.

LOL. That's all I have to say really.

Impatient are we?

Edit: It's hardly a strong perk... Birds are easy to counter already and not a massive killer resource.

A lot of people set off birds, especially if they aren't in the terror radius. And calm spirit allows survivors to walk or run to a hiding spot, which can make it much more annoying to find that survivor.

The PTB isn't a disaster. Most of the changes appear to be good in fact. There's a lot of people griping about specific changes they personally don't like but with a rework this size there's bound to be some parts that various people don't like. Personally though I'm looking forward to playing the midchapter regardless, as a killer main I appreciate the 10 seconds extra on the gens and short stun durations and I'm interested to try a bunch of new loadouts. Not to mention the Prestige rework will benefit some of my characters' inventories from day 1. 🙂
Do I agree with literally 100% of the things in the midchapter? No, of course not, who would? When you change 40 perks and multiple parts of the base game there's bound to be a few things I'd have preferred they did differently. But it's still a good looking patch so far and definitely not, in my opinion, anything resembling a "disaster".

I think the devs want/try to much at once.
A few perkchanges + gensduration =fine
Chasingbuffs + perkchanges = fine
It would be easier and healthier to make a few tweaks and make more changes if needed. Maybe simply this would change the meta, cause survivors will run other perks to push/defend genprogress or in chase of chasingbuffs they will run more perks to avoid chases… who knows.
But with all this changes at once in this kind it is a disaster.
The now prestige system punish newer players, rewards player who didn’t prestige in the past and is a slap for longtime player who already p3 all characters. And the p3 reward is ridiculous.

A few flaws aren't "a disaster". It looked like a move in the general right direction.
Exaggeration doesn't serve an argument.
1 -
Please change the P3 "reward" nobody likes it
