Question about dropping survivor
Hi :)
I was playing a game with very altruistic survivors, always body blocking me.
One moment I really had to drop the survivor, but I just couldn't.
Why ? Is there a mechanic preventing you from dropping if survivors are too close to you ?

To make you run Mad Grit.

There needs to be room for the survivor to be dropped in. That usually means you can only drop them out on the open.

You can't drop if there's no free space to your left. It won't drop also while you're being swayed to one side by the wiggle effect. Only when the momentum stops.
Stay clear from walls and spam the drop key. That'll do the trick.

Didn't know that, thank you :D

I didn’t know this either! 😳 This has never happened to me. Interesting…

I often have to press the drop key multiple times to drop the survivor. I think it’s just a bug, and it’s been around a long time. Imagine if Dead Hard had this same issue - I bet it would get fixed pretty damn quickly 🙄

Yeah, I personally think that unless in an extreme situation, the killer should always be able to drop, not have to deal with children bodyblocking the drop. Honestly would love a killer that uses survivors themselves as a friggin club. Though I run mad grit almost always now because it’s funny but also has the side effect of wrecking idiots that do this.
