I see a lot ot topic about the new grind system being worst for new players.

But i thing i disagree on this one.

i may be wrong since im not rlly god at english soo please correct me if something i say from now is incorrect, tnx :)

First, when you prestige, you dont loose your progress, wich mean you will probably go full perk before you reach the end of p3

also when you reach level 40, if i'm not wrong the teachable perks still start to appear in the other characters bloodweb (not sure but i think is still like that) wich mean you can still grind "the old way" but you dont need to restart every time you prestige... this alone is a big cut in the grind... am i wrong?

Teachable perks will not appear anymore. Now, the prestige levels will be replacement of these. To unlock first level teachables, you will need to prestige level 1 on that character, but these perks now will unlock for every old / new character for free.

If that is the case, than yes, for new player is not going to be pretty.

I'm a streamer and i have all my killer p3 full perk (almost) and is going to be easier to p3 one killer and have allthe others automatically done..

but i only have one survior p3 and the others are just 40 with no prestige...

is going to be painfull that way...

However you keep everything with you as you prestige. And perks you allready unlocked you will keep.

But you'll still be able to get higher tiers of the unlocked perks in the individual bloodwebs, so they can act as teachables only with the addition that you already start with tier 1 of the perks

Peanits confirmed that teachables unlocked prior to the change will be treated as a prestige, unlocking automatically on all characters at tier 1.

So all of your level 40 survivors will have every single survivor perk at tier 1.

so you prestige one time and you can go "the old way"

is 10 levels more x character but can be handled

10 levels more per character, plus the 50k prestige tax

31 survivors means 310 more levels, PLUS 1550000 bloodpoints to prestige all of them at least ONCE

28 killers means 280 more levels, PLUS 1400000 bloodpoints to prestige all of them at least ONCE

Sure, it's only 10 more levels

yes but you dont have to prestige 3 times i think, someone shoul do a bit of math and see how many levels you need to go full perk since prestiging doeasnt reset your character anymore.

Also anyone know when the new sistem is going live?

Next midpach which should be around the end of July, beggining of August.

but you dont have to grind these perks at lv 1 anymore which means for survior: 3 perks x 31 = 93

in the old system you get 2 perks per level (at lv50) so it 46 levels to get this perks per survivor

so all together it would be 46 level x 31 surviors (ervery survivor has is own perks allready) so you would save 1380 level.

please correct me if i am wrong

The numbers I wrote are regarding prestiging all characters ONCE, unlocking their perk at Tier 1 and allowing you to go "the old way"

Honestly, they probably should have removed the "teachable" restriction in addition to implementing the new system.

All teachable perks (including for characters not owned/unlocked) could just be in the perk pool off the bat. Then every character you prestige reduces this perk pool (due to immediately sharing their perks with everyone else), making it easier to unlock a wider variety of perks.

The old system screwed brand new players by making virtually no perks available at the start, and the new system really won't fix this at all. It still puts pressure on these players to level up characters in the "correct" order so they have strong and/or fun perks available sooner on whoever they actually want to play. Hence why a lot of people have been complaining that the change won't actually do a whole lot for newer players while instead heavily benefiting veteran players who didn't need the help as much.

Meanwhile removing teachable restrictions would mean that new players could level up characters in whatever order they feel like and still have the chance to get interesting perks in the process (without accidentally "wasting" time by leveling characters with underwhelming teachables first, like Jane or Wraith). Then they could choose when to invest in other characters to reduce their future grind as they see fit.

I enjoyed getting bloody cosmetics for all characters, so with this change the grind hasn't really lessened for me. In fact the only real difference, considering I'll have to get them to P6 now is that my bloodpoint gain has been cut in half. Not a reduction in the slightest. I doubt the odds of there being 100% BP bonus for matchmaking incentive will be that common, and it would also force you into a role you might not want to play when I could simply get 4 BBQ or WGLF stacks reliably beforehand.

Anyone who states that the grind hasnt been lessened for newer players is just plainly wrong. Its not as much as for old players, but its a good amount easier now as you still have your perks after prestige and get the lesser grind of smaller bloodswebs instead of grinding through lvl50 bloodwebs all the time and get free perks on others for each p3 character.
