Who is ready for Forever Plague/Legion?
With the basekit gen time and buffed thana as well as pentimento being a thing, it'll be fun to see plague and legion that make sure your injured the whole time via the broken addon for legion and plague just puking on everyone. This is also assuming the killer doesn't kick gens with like new overcharge or call of brine. It might not be so bad but it doesn't sound good on paper. Anyone else excited?

I switched to plague when COH came out. So yes. I. Am. Ready.

I'm ready to use circle of healing and and prove Thyself more. As well as other healing and gen repair perks.
If they are going to be a thing at least survivors can adapt a bit

My toggle button is ready and my bed is made 😎

I don't see this being a problem except for inefficient survivors. Plague provides instant heals and a warning when she uses the pools. Good survivors split when it's a legion to limit the power and injuries. It's also extremely common for survivors not to break totems or just boon them.
They might be great combos but doubt I will see this effective first-hand.

Bold of you to assume killers can injure all survivors before 4 gens are done.
5 -
The typical plague strat:
Run corrupt and an infection time addon
Go to all 5 unblocked gens and puke on them
Survivors now are forced to either be infected or not do gens - both of which are good for the killer.

Or the smart option of accepting the delay for corrupt to run out and avoid touching infected gens.

I am very excited to play Legion, yes.

If you're coordinated sure

I'm always solo so I can only coordinate myself. Still, experienced survivors know how to respond in those situations.
2 -
Experienced teammates are a myth in solo q though 🥸

🤔 Then I've played with some true legends

Maybe even with TheLegend27 😱

well legion is hard countered by good medkits and a good spread out of the survivors while plague doesnt because she injures survivors passively and maked them broken for free while legion on the other hand.
*REALLY FAR AWAY KILLER INSTINCT NOISES*

Guess the same people who nerfed Forever Freddy weren’t in charge of this patch. Or something came loose along the way.
3 -
Yeah and we are ready for survivors with 5 health states of armor too. So what's your point?
4 -
The Freddy add-on change was over a year ago and since then they've implemented a new matchmaking system that produced a lot of new data on kills and escape rates among closely matched players. Data and opinions can change over time. Not to mention that presumably their goal with revamping the Freddy add-on was to give it something different from just gen slowdown.

You can bet your sweet ass that I'mma be running legion with thana, pentimento, gift of Pain and overcharge or call of brine or Eruption

Considering both killers aren't viable and a few seconds longer in an ideal situation (a.k.a. with bad survivors) isn't that big a deal, yes I am ready.

Do you think running Pentimento without Plaything worth it? I don't own Pinhead but I'm considering to get him just for Plaything...
I'm afraid Survivors don't touch totems if they don't need to. I mean, I don't cleanse dull totems myself... And Shattered Hope could be an option but only if the Survivors bring a Boon...
Pentimento + Thana is gonna be a nasty combo... if they cleanse.

While fun in theory, there might be a downside. Killer nerfs are based on kill rates, and Legion mains are already experiencing lots of DCs and players letting go on hook. If people start doing this more often to get out of long games, it could artificially inflate kill rates and the killers get nerfed.

Plague? Not viable? She's one of the most solid killers in the game
3 -
That's exactly what's going to happen. Already throw myself at Legion's because I don't wanna put myself through that. Legion mains are rejoicing now, but when Legion gets nerfed cuz nobody's playing games against them then it's gonna be a different conversation.

trust me, you'd be surprised with the amount of people who do totems instead of doing gens for no reason. Those are the survivors I go against at least. But you might be right too, If I don't bring Pentimento, It will either be replaced with the other perks I mentioned, like overcharge or Call Of Brine. or Eruption

Wasn’t the issue with Freddy more that the slowdown could be applied to maximum efficiency with absolutely no effort required from the killer. Don’t like the Thanataphobia buff but at least the killer has to do something to get it.

Legion has to be barely careful to not whiff in Frenzy is about all, Plague can simply rely on passive infection to do the job of Thana for her. And cleansing against her puts survivors in a lose-lose situation most of the time. In other words, Thana is only a problem on killers who quickly or freely eat the healthy state of survivors - of which we have two. Legion and Plague are the problems.

Oh dear, someone hasn't been studying the official forum tierlist

I've been running Plague a lot since the devs refuse to fix the OP insanity that is CoH - which will now be even stronger with the buffed Botany Knowledge.

WhAt IS wrONg WiTH thiS LIst?!

I mean she's decent, like other A-B tiers, but also like other A-B tiers, actual good survivors will still beat her semi-easily, unfortunately. A few more seconds isn't going to change that.
That's what I mean when I said viable. Remember if we put survivors on the tier list, they'd be S tier. That's why generally S and Nurse tier killers are considered the only ones who can actually go against good survivors.
If you consider Plague S tier that's your opinion, but the general consensus, afaik, is that she's not.

Had a survivor game where a Nancy went around breaking all the dull totems. Killer had pentimento and got all 5 stacks. 💀
