Being a noob
I hate it . I'm good enough at killer but I mostly get paired against absolute god survivors , but I'm not even close to being as good as them. Truly wish there was some other type of option

Don't be too hard on yourself. It's just a game :)

It hurts my soul

It's well known that Killers don't have souls, especially basement Bubba's 😂

Soul? hahaha a Killer does not have a soul.

id recommend trying some customs with some mates itll make you better in real games but otherwise dont worry about winning just practice even with 3200 hours i still just practice alot of games and get better at specific killer powers

I highly doubt you're not as bad as you think you are. A few survivor escapes doesn't mean anything.

The more you play the better you’ll get. 🙂 Also keep in mind the game is designed with 1-3 kills being the most common results, so if the survivors play well they’re expected to finish the generators and get the gates open even if you play well too. If most of your matches are in that 1-3 kill range then you’re actually performing on par with the survivors.

I hate that tactic. I know everyone has their own but I've had my best luck with hag . Only times I don't have luck is with a million pallets in a row on large maps with crazy spread out hooks . I usually just chalk it up to poor hook placement for that map and go on with it , but sometimes when it's multiple in a row it's frustrating

That's less than I thought I would be ! Thank you for reassuring that not every game needs to be a slaughtered 4k and that it isn't normal to get more than about 2 kills

Unfortunately I have no mates lol I'm on Xbox and the only people I can find on here who play customs on Xbox is little ass kids who are incredibly annoying who don't help at all with learning how to actually play . But like you said since that's not doable I'll just get experience from live matches and not take it too seriously when I get absolutely destroyed

Idk what to tell you man, hate to say it but you have to get good, as advice id suggest two things, first play m1 killers without addons nor relying on perks, yes you will get destroyed but you will build muscle memory for lunges and learn some map tiles, as well as understanding the pace of the game when no slowdown is in play.
After that when you can at the very least get 2ks consistently, pick a good killer, not an m1, preferably a good one, and start learning all their ins and outs, once you get good with that killer you will be able to win most matches, altho if the killer you main isn't blight/nurse/spirit take in mind a decent swf will still mop the floor with you.

Yeah seems about to be the vibe I'm getting throughout all this is to pick the right killers, to limit my expectations on how much ass I can kick, and I also started dodging obvious SWF lobbies lol but I appreciate the honesty

There'll also be the option to play with bots soon enough for practice on killers you're unfamiliar with :) they might be a bit janky but they probably won't teabag so much :p

Alot of help you are... You didn't even tell him which killer is best at camping. *cough *cough allow me. What he means is buy The Cannibal and after you manage to hook someone, just use your chainsaw on anyone foolish to unhook in your face

Watch this YouTuber/Streamer Called Otzdarva, He is the best dbd player in the world in my opinion and he makes a ton of guides teaching you about the game and perks and what killers you should get first. Hope this helps

I think it's better to watch different content creators, to learn different tricks, especially if they main one Killer. Like, if you wanna main Huntress, you watch a Huntress main who should have one or two more tricks to show off.
But watching content creators is also a way to learn. I do that all the time. I watch, then I go practice. It helped me a lot about some things.

Yes, basically the more players you watch play the game, the more you will learn about the game

Play Dbd long enough and you’ll eventually lose your souls
