Distinct Reward -> Red Background instead Gold Sparkles
Sure the Red Background looks better than the Gold Sparkles BUT come on Behaviour...
That's not what your customers want. No one cares for a Reward that no one but yourself can see.
Have a Heart and give us something that you promised us -> something with bragging rights other players actually can see.

In the same update, they said they modified the prestige icons.
So, it seems you've already gotten what you wanted.

No, because they changed the icons for everyone (no matter if you have P3ed your characters or not).

Just an idea, but they could add the heads of the survivors and killers you p3 as charms. Like little trophys that you keep on your belt/hook.

Instead of charms they could give us a P3-Head as Icon for the left side of the Screen during matches.

Yeah why are people still complaining about this is beyond me. The portraits look better.

I mean, it looks way better.
My problem is, I will now have all Characters with this portraits, which is cool. And yes, I can disable it. But when a new Survivor and Killer are released, those two will not have this effect. And this will trigger me.

That’s fair. I only p3ed my favorites (except for Dwight and meg) the past 3 survivors have not been appealing to me so it won’t matter to me. But understand where your coming from. I just don’t get why people are complaining about not showing it off.

I think it looks super cool! Plus the prestige icons will be a better way of flexing on folks in the future without locking new players out of the ability to partake, too

If you're playing on PC it doesn't even take 10 minutes to change (modify) the portraits how ever you want them.

I don't get how they can see people complaining about how pointless a reward is if only you can see it, and then just... change the color of the pointless reward.

Unless I'm mistaken, they only said it would be a "distinct reward." They NEVER said other players would be able to see it. In fact, they were very clear that it wouldn't be a cosmetic or charm, and they said they were trying to avoid "legacy 2.0."
I understand that you WISH it was something other people could see, but I really don't think they were misleading at all on this particular issue.

Ugly pointless reward before, pointless reward after the dev update.
I'll never be tired of saying it, this so called reward is an insult to what you had to sacrifice in order to prestige.
I'll take bloodpoints over a different portrait I'll need to disable later, at least I can use those to pay for the stupid prestige tax.

They said players who P3ed before the patch releases will get a prestige icon (a portrait background is not an icon) and bragging rights (you can't brag with something no one but you can see).

The change to the portraits looks great, I can't deny that. I'll take the red background over the gold sparkles any day of the week.
That being said, though, the crux of the issue has always been that only you can see it. Other players can't see it. A unique prestige icon for those who P3'd prior to the update would accomplish this without being "Legacy 2.0". It's simple, easy to do, isn't a cosmetic or a charm and it's something other players can see.
I'm not unhappy about what they have changed, I just wish that they had considered that players might want to actually have something to show for their efforts that they and others can see.
