If u had the opportunity to create a chase perk for survivor & hunt perk for killer what would it be
I would give the survivors a version of bamboozle and the killers a perk that lets's them Ignore stun damage based off of a token system linked to how many hooks they get!

Killer perk: if a surv starts looking backwards and you’re near him and you press e in the first 0.5 secs you get a hit. You can only use it once every 40 secs

Survivor perk
- After being in chase for at least 14 / 12 / 10 seconds, the auras of you and the killer is showed to all Survivors for 10 seconds.
Killer perk
- After hooking a Survivor and being from the hooked Survivor at least 24 meters away, this perk activates. You gain 7% haste status effect and 15% Attack recovery speed (missed or hit) for the next 20 / 25 / 30 seconds. Entering the range within 16 meters of the hooked Survivor will disable these effects.

Killer perk: scratch marks now become footsteps that go from red to blue depending on how long they last.
Survivor perk: you can crouch walk while healing

these would actually be so useful super cool ideas

Killer Perk: After hooking 3 unique survivors, the last one becomes the obsession and their aura is revealed to you. When that survivor is hooked, this effect moves to the survivor who has been unhooked the longest time ago. This perk disables, when only 3/2/1 survivors are alife.

Bamboozle for survivors? So god windows just become solid walls? Great idea, surely this perk wouldn't be played exclusively with ichorous loam or strode realty key offerings to create infinites
Also what do you count as "stun damage"? If this includes stuns from perks, you might as well delete head on, ds and blast mine and if you only count pallet stuns then you just created enduring 2.0

So what you're saying is that balance should not be taken into account?

Perk:
When the obsession loses a health state, all vaults within 32m of you are blocked for 10/15/20s
Each time you start a chase with a survivor that isn't the obsession, they become the obsession, this effect has a 20s cooldown and only works once per survivor per trial (i am potato at wording this)
Perk: Boon:
*insert usual boon mechanic text*
Survivors within the boon's radius see the auras of all other survivors, and all survivors outside of the boon's radius see the auras of all survivors within the boon's radius
When the killer snuffs this boon, their aura is revealed for 5/10/15 to all survivors

these are really cool I hope the devs see them!

But the entire reason why we don't still have old OoO or old MoM is because while those perks were "fun" for survivors, they were incredibly frustrating and downright broken when going against them as killer, same with old undying. A perk that is fun for one side should not be a horrible experience for the other side. This is why balance is important and while I do agree that dbd isn't the most balanced game, simply because it is asymmetrical, there is no reason to make it even more unbalanced by creating broken "fun" perks for one side that the other side can't really do anything about.

Thanks, i used to design perks for funsies, i still do on occasion
We need boons that do something when snuffed

Time Heals All Wounds: For every second that your in chase you gain 0.5% towards your healing progress. You cannot go above 30/40/50% healing progression.
Can't remember the killer perk idea I had.

That would be so cool so like the longer the chase the more you heal yourself when Injured?

Perk: Boon:
When the killer snuffs this boon, they're stunned for 3/4/5s afterwards

How about perks that charge up via chase?
Survivor: Every 10s of chase you gain 1 token up to a maximum of 5. If you escape the chase, the next time you repair a gen you will immediately repair 1% of progress for each token (up to 5%). If you become injured or put into the dying state you lose all tokens.
Killer: Every 10s of chase you gain 1 token up to a maximum of 5. When you put a survivor into the dying state, you see the auras of all other survivors for 1s for each token (up to 5s). If you lose the chase for more than 10s you lose all tokens.

Perk:
Your basic attacks inflict exhaustion for 3/4/5s (any existing exhaustion's timer is paused while the 3/4/5s remains)
Exhausted survivors have their footsteps, breathing noises and grunts of pain increased by 25%

Fine, if balance isn't important, I present: emergency teleport for survivors and omnipotence for killer
Emergency teleport:
if you have been in chase with the killer for 3/2/1 second, press E to teleport to the place on the map hat is the furthest away from the killer. Emergency teleport has a 5 second cooldown
Omnipotence:
the auras of all survivors within 64/96/128m of you are revealed to you. While not in chase, you gain 50% haste. While in chase with a survivor whose aura is revealed to you, the survivor becomes exposed.
As you can see, both of those perks are incredibly fun and I hope the devs consider adding them to the game because I believe it would really improve the gameplay experience for both sides

Killer perk: Malicious Projection
When you move backwards Malicious Projection activates
For 10 seconds you lose your red light and a copy of the red light stays in the the place Malicious Projection was activated
Malicious Projection has a cooldown of 30/25/20 seconds

Maybe make the teleport restricted to a random locker more than 24m away, and make it an activated ability, and once per trial
0 -
Yes. So if you have a 60 second chase you'll recover 30% healing.
However if your already 40% healed then you'll only get 10% since you can't go over 50% at tier 3.

A survivor perk: when in a chase, press the secondary action button to make you leave no scratchmarks for 5 seconds. It would have a 2-minute cooldown.
