What is your dream map?

What is dream map to torment survivors or be tormented as a survivor on?

For me, I would love a ravine map with mineshafts placed into the sides of the valley.

a map with no god loops or bandaid breakable walls but instead a large number of mindgamable loops and weaker windows. Just making chases more dynamic while having less potential deadzones.

The return of the only killer sided map in the game. Survivors everywhere shriek at the mere mention of its name, so to be respectful, I will not type it out.

A map that is fair for both sides and has resources for survivors but also doesn’t have god windows, doesn’t spawn ridiculous setups such as shack window and a long wall window facing each other. Also not a super big map, and not one that has several breakable walls I need to bust down to make it playable. Also ideally has something that can be used for balanced landing (aka not shelter woods).

A mall map or hotel map would be cool classic horror vibes

The old maps were already perfect for me.

    I don't need anything else.

More silent hill. I mean like a realms worth of maps for it. Such a great environment with so many good locations. If i ad to pick a specific one itd be Lakeside Amusement park. I know it couldnt happen but itd be cool of they could somehow implement the water prison from 4 so surreal.

to a lesser degree i think there are a bunch of great areas for maps in the re universe too

Midwich and RPD both suffer from a similar issue that is almost always going to be present when taking a map from a game designed around entirely different gameplay: They did an absolute fantastic job with the maps aesthetically and in carrying over their original feel and design, but an absolutely horrendous job balancing them for the gameplay loop in dbd. While I think locales like the hospital/amusement park/etc have metric tons of potential and im sure would look fantastic, I have very little faith they would play in a way that wouldn't be absurdly unbalanced for one side or the other.

I'd love a motel style map. There could be like 20 rooms lined up with a pool, parking lot, small gym, etc.

Rapture from Bioshock (because that's my dream DLC)

I think BHVR could really do the creepy underwater atmosphere justice.

As for licenses, Hawkins Star Court Mall or Raccoon City Streets (RE3 Remake) would be great.

for original maps, way too many possibilities. Though abandoned amusement park or beach/vacation resort off season (a la I Still Know What You Did Last Summer) would be neat

    Honestly, that sounds amazing.

You could have one area be a swanky bar while the other is a warehouse. In the middle, the aftermath of Rapture's Civil War.

    something like crystal lake.

a summer camp feeling would be amazing just like it was in Friday the 13th.

Blackfield Asylum from Twisted Metal Black. It doesn't have much of a canon interior so the devs could...maybe...have some creative freedom when it comes to the design and balance. Either that or the Silent Hill 3 Mall or the outer areas of Silent Hill, preferably the nightmare variant from the first game.

Although it'll never happen for obvious reasons, I'd love the original Luigi's Mansion.

    Hell from Hellraiser 2.

Worst part is, it'd probably be easier to navigate than RPD.

Hotel map - Exit gates are elevators. Survivors instead jam buttons to open gate.

ghost Ship map. Survivors Lower Anchors or lift life boats.

Literal Hell- Corpses tied to walls screaming in pain (like midwich)

A High School, Exit gates are school bus doors they have to yank open.
