Lucifer as next killer

Lucifer is the actual devil, watch the serious Lucifer on Netflix!! As an ability he could transform into his devil form and then either as a perk or in game perk (like the zombies for nemesis) he could have his trusty sidekick Maze who is an insane bounty hunter.

As survivors there could be Detective Chloe Decker and Doctor Linda. Dr Linda could have perks that help out other survivors as she’s a therapist. Chloe’s perks could be distraction as is Lucifers love interest.

I'd much rather have a demon, it'd be VERY strange for someone like the actual Devil to just be yoinked into DBD.

Never gonna happen. Behavior has said that they want to avoid using any modern religion in DbD.

Yeah but Lucifer on that show isn’t a serial killer, he doesn’t really fit the mold.

Playing devil's advocate (get it???), but the Dredge isn't really a serial killer either; just a...thing.

I’m not sure if the literal definition of serial killer in the context of fiction excludes a creature like Dredge, but that’s purely a semantic detail that obviously has nothing to do with why Lucifer doesn’t fit the killer mold of the game.

I mean if we are arguing serial killers then technically the plague isn’t a serial killer if anything she tried to save her people

Well if we look at the lore of how the Entity recruits Killers it makes a deal with them. The deal is always struck and it doesn't take no as an answer, but what would happen if it tried taking the Devil himself. A being well known for it's own deal making skills. I would assume they would enter into a neverending series of loophole arguments about the specifics of this deal and that would be just too much of a headache for the Entity. Which considering it doesn't have a head is strange.

I think behaviour will never want to put themselves in a position were some players may get offended because lucifer is a character that's a part of a major religion that's still very popular today, that's why smite despite being a game about gods will never use a character like jesus or lucifer, not even if it's just ''by name''..
