Correct me if I'm wrong
Since update, any perks that I unlocked whilst only leveling to 45 and not prestiging are gone forever to any character for which I've not unlocked it in that character's bloodweb? Ergo, I now have to prestige the original character with the desired perk 3 times to get access back to it.
Does that accurately summarize it?

I think if you already had the teachable unlocked, it is still available to all characters
You just can't get the teachables now since that mechanic was replaced
I think that's how it works

So if I rendered the perk teachable at any polint, it should still show up in future bloodwebs, even though it shows locked on the original character's screen?

If you have already unlocked a teachable before the patch, then it should be treated the same as if you had prestiged that character once.
It won't show up under that characters unlocked perks at the top of the bloodweb screen, but they will be in the perk inventories of all other characters at tier 1.
You can still find the tier 2 and 3 versions in their individual bloodwebs, otherwise yes you will need to prestige that character 2 or 3 times to fully unlock their perks at tier 3 on everyone.

The devs said nobody will lose anything
I imagine that applies to unlocked teachables as well. The prestige thing being 'locked' just means the perks aren't auto-unlocked on other characters

Unless you were working toward a teachable perk and didn't quite make it. Then you WILL lose progress.

Yeah kinda, you don't techincally lose anything
You just need to spend more time to get to 50 so you can get p1
Which can take a while

I mean, you lose the bloodpoints you spent to get to say level 39 if all you were after was the teachable

Not quite, you still can level to 50 once and get the better than a teachable tier 1 unlocks when you Prestige 1. Grind!
