Killer is easy mode now
I have been playing around 40 Killer matches since the new patch. Every Killer in rotation with average Addons and 1 slowdown perk. These Kids cant reach endgame at all. This is not even fun anymore, it feels like I play against bots.
And no, Im not low MMR. I was always 4king 80% of my matches before but I actually had to bring some meta, sweat and work for it.
Now I dont use meta, dont sweat and just chill while hearing to music.

If you were getting 4ks 80% of the time you must have been getting some awful survivors or mmr wasn't doing its job.

I lost a couple of matches. Sure, I got a few kills. Maybe you're just that good? I know I'm average.

Same I literally just played the killer that gets me to rank 1 and I got 1k and 7 hooks. Every survivor in the lobby threw at least 2-3 pallets a chase, even with spirit fury enduring they just started pre dropping. An easy L.

It's possible. This Bubba ragequit after the last gen popped, having 0 hooks or downs. I was solo, and the David also was by my understanding.

Killers is kinda overbuffed, I personally dont have to push any efforts to make 4k on nurse in the early start. Survs cannot repair gens against Plauge or Leg with Thana and Pentimento. I guess survs will suffer couple days and it will be changed. Personally devs just needed to rework DH (aka EEEEEE) and game will be skill depended and fun in all aspects. Cuz you dont have to worry about gen rush when there isnt 3 health stage from EEE, but you have to chek gens after hook, but now you have extra 10 (or more depend on perks) sec to camp hooked surv. That is kinda unfair.

I played 23 games as killer, not one survivor left through gate yet. Well, its true i m also playing strong perks right now so they cant finish gens tho.

The issue right now is a few things
1) Survivors that were high because of DH. That perk was called a boosted perk for a reason. The amount of times I have seen survivors unable to loop is unreal atm. Even my friends who used DH say its harder without it. DH also extended chases by about 30 seconds if used right, which was almost half a gen per player, which really made "gen rushing" feel like a thing.
2) Everything is new and people haven't adapted yet. This happens in a lot of games and even IRL. Everything meta changed so many players have to change everything up to something new
3) I'm not sure why people arent talking about this one... Survivor got the bonus 100% BP incentive. I have seen a lot of P0 or low Prestige survivors lately. I think a lot of people who arent survivor mains are seeing that and jumping into survivor as well and not being the best at it and dying easily.

played blight (my main i guess) with some of the buffed perks. the survs sent me to gideon and brought 3 bt, otr and dh. ate 4 dh that game since blight cant really wait it out, and since the map has 20 god pallets i didnt have enough time to do anything really.
btw i have 2100 hours in case that matters

Yeah because 10s of gen speed made the game killer sided get out of here lmao. I've been destroyed FASTER since the patch unless playing plague.. I have over 3k killer hours, but I'm console so there's a huge difference as killer there.
Survivors are all stacking gen speed stuff and swfs are out in full force.

I usually play while cooking supper, watching Netflix, and writing haiku.
Only got 39 4ks, so I still have a bit to learn, but the meta is new so I'm not disappointed.

No, high MMR SWF troups. I verse the same sweat squads like before. Im so high MMR, that I always see the same groups of survivors in my Lobby. I also had a lot of cheaters but those I dont count

THIS! Seriously, it's not hard to notice. I'm not winning because killer was buffed, I'm winning because the survivors aren't really that good. None of them can loop. There's also been games where I get competent survivors and the difference is night and day, literally.

what do you want exactly? 40 Killer matches? I could do uploud it but with my shiddy uploud speed it would take me 1 month to upload all while having the internet crumble for everyone else in my house. If I get better Internet I will actually start streaming. Its the only reason why Im not a content creator already.

MMR hasn't been doing it's job. ######### are you on about. It's the single most frustrating thing in the world. I run around and do average 2-3 gens, go for unhooks, loop. But because i don't escape, the game thinks i'm dogshit and lowers my MMR. That killer that camped hook and tunneled on save? Yeah they go up in MMR. How does this make sense? At least the old system based your rating on actual gameplay. Red rank? You had to be doing on average 2 gens, 2 unhooks, 2 chases. Everyone knew the breakdown. And at least at that point, whether it be to climb rank or w/e, people were actively out doing things. Now it's just a clown fiesta

The old pip system was better at ranking. That goes without saying.
However in ops case, I can take a 6 month break as killer then the second I come back it's a 4 man sweat squad. Ops must play at really odd hours to get crappy survivors enough times to get 80% win rate.

Stop with the excuses on my results already. I dont have low MMR bots or weird hours when I play alright. I get play at normal play times, sometimes more sometimes less hours. I stomp and stomp and stomp. I only got stomped before the patch when smart sweat squad used 4 boxes with map offering while I played Idk Legion. Thats about it, than that its nearly always 3k+ and very rarely 2k tie.
Now with the patch my win rate with 4 kills is 100%.

Even otz or Tru don't win 80% of the time. Your numbers don't sound very realistic. They sound made up and if you can't handle someone poking holes in your logic don't open a discussion.

I've been playing since patch released with like a 6 hour nap since. Queue's are filled with monkeys that don't do anything. Period. He's not that far off. When I get hooked (I play solo) there's always somebody running around, MAYBE somebody on gen, and the last 3 matches something has been crouching somewhere not doing anything like they are scared of Dad coming to beat them. IT's ridiculous. THIS is why things aren't being done. And prior to all the slow down mechs, you could MAYBE work with 1 other to complete things and get out. IT's damn near impossible now. Especially with this MMR bullshit not being properly ironed out

I believe the MMR was wrong yesterday (and maybe today too)
I got beginners after beginners against my main. It was not pretty. I could down them without even blinking.
My Huntress got one decent team to verse (above 2K hours range)

otz had an average killrate of 3.8 with no perks, no addons and being afk 30 seconds. Im playing since 2016 and I use perks, addons and Im not afk 30 seconds. Not that special to get 80% win rate.
And well tru3.. he is not the top notch to being with.

Alot of survivors have to re-learn how to loop and use tiles again. So far none of the changes have made my solo games more difficult. Killer changes didn't change much either except for catching up against poor movements.

Yeah, I dont know what is going on, but Killer seems very, very easy currently. I switched up my Builds a bit for most Killers, simply because I dont run BBQ anymore on everyone of them so I can use a Perk which actually benefits the Killer.
And regardless if I played Trapper or Nurse, the games were not really hard. All without Slowdown as well. If I would have stacked Slowdown, I am pretty sure that none of those games would have had more than 2 or maybe 3 Gens completed.
So either MMR is way off or the Devs were "a little bit" too generous when it comes to increasing Killrates.

Speaking of, I didn't see the bonus today, and the killer queue is almost one minute in the evening. It's pretty rare.
Either some survivor-exclusive players are pouting, either they are trying killer now that it's not that much of a masochistic endeavor. (If it's the case, they'll be back once the MMR is adjusted)

I've been playing perkless addonless trapper and waiting 2 minutes at the start of every match in order to give the survivors a chance, although that didn't help much. After a match where I also blindfolded myself and used my feet for the controls I finally got just a 3k, although they might've been hacking

I got too was very good swf gen rushing and all escaped. I was playing pig and they but map offering to swamp. But lately been winning all my games as I adjusted my perks and well I have played better too.

I believe SuppaAlf is approaching 300 consequent wins on Nurse. Could it be that some killers are kinda busted?

there is nothing to be relearned about loops besides MCmillan with new tiles. All other loops are the same and work the same

He's got like 6000 hours on the arguably highest skill ceiling killer. Not just any 6000 hours. 6000 hours where his only goal is to be good enough to create whatever content his little Nurse loving heart wants. This needs to stop being a rebuttal.

I've seen survivors overestimate the # of possible loops where old dh would have secured the vault/pallet. So yeah I'd say some need to re-learn to loop the normal way.

You do understand that even the greatest chess grandmaster in the world that even lived can even come close to that kind of win ratio right?
Alright ill do you one better. I played around 30+ games on nurse since the patch and not all of them were easy but i won them all and only let a few go due to stuff like multiple dcs. I'm not even a great player. I'm not even a good player. I ran 0 addons for all those matches.
Does that sound ok to you?

The living deuce are you talking about? Chess is not an asymmetrical RPG. The only difference in chess is between white and black. DBD is not so clear cut. In competitive RPGs the role matters and there are roles for people with low skill caps but high skill floors, high skill caps, and everything in between.
I'll gladly believe your Nurse claims, as I will gladly believe anyone else, as long as they provide the VOD.
And for the record, my games have been easier too, but not because of anything I've done. I just noticed that people have a lower threshold for throwing the game. the SWF's I get remain competitive.

I've played 4 games of Nurse. Three have had people DC that I didn't even interact with that game. The 4th game was a against a team that intentionally threw.
VOD = Video on Demand.
DH was an over represented crutch - every killer is having an easier time in it's absence. I don't recall trying to make a point about DH on this thread.

DH was the biggest counter to nurse. Play a few dozen more games on her and tell me if you lose any, then we can continue this discussion.
Edit: And i dunno about recording and stuff, not really for me. Wish we had a simple history log or something.

My download speed is good enough for normal content consumption. Not enough for 4k videos. Uploud speed is abysmal and is only really enough for minimal uploud stuff like gaming. Uplouding actual content not only takes forever but also crumbles download speed and makes gaming during that time impossible. German internet is just dogshid and cant change it

If every match is easy than that is definitely matchmaking screwing around. Nothing new.
Killer surely isn't easy mode now, unless maybe you are playing with the strongest killers, and using tunneling and camping as tactics as well. Otherwise, good survivors will still give you a hard time.
Survivors definitely will need some buffs in the near future, but killer isn't easy mode just because of the buffs they received this patch.
