For the "uninstall" crowd ...
Being frustrated to the point you want to make a long pause is perfectly understandable. I've done it myself years ago and kept away for several months. (I even went a step further which let to my forum account to be reset and renamed when I came back, yeah, when I'm pissed, I'm pissed.)
However, don't say you are uninstalling if you are not following through. The devs have statistics and know exactly who you are as there is a link between your forum account and your game one. (If they cared enough to check.) As for forum users, they generally don't care and not many will believe you. Getting a "see you tomorrow" reply is pretty common.
As a general rule in life, never make a threat if you will not follow through.

If someone wants to uninstall, it's better that they do it and don't announceit here... there's no point, no one actually cares.

True but one needs to vent sometimes, even if it's for the last time. (I can make a parallel but the thread would go dark mighty fast.)

I've accepted that I'll probably never be able to quit this game.
There's not really an alternative. If I dislike Battlefield, I can play CoD. If I dislike Fortnite, I can play Warzone. If I dislike DBD, I can play....DBD.

Telling the devs you'll uninstall is a show of force, they can see your playtime, money spent ect and if you are a valuable asset to their wallet they won't want to see you go and concede to demands if enough "high value" players shelf the game.

Who told you that sherlock?

If they could do that why when reporting a player you have to get your Code and send it to them

Unless the game is utterly ruined by some change, I'm cursed as well.
I've played VHS last year, I was part of the "lucky" ones. And the early fun vanished as soon as we became competent. It was also extremely exhausting for the monster. I got bored playing teen and I left. (The game hasn't improved much since so I guess it's not going anywhere).
I've played Propnight and the game was flawed too. Fun for a few hours, then the imbalance was obvious and I've left. I think the game is dead now.
I've played Evil Dead and, once again, the game was stupidly imbalanced. They've fixed some parts but it's still not good. (Altough I'm not even checking anymore)
You know what's the worst? I've got thousands of video games. 826 on Steam alone but I've got hundreds on every other gaming platform (I got them all) and I'm still coming back to DbD. The only exception has been the 172 hours spent on Elden Ring (to clear all the map).
I need an exorcist.

So how many is "enough" exactly? Because I can guarantee the 15 people on the forums yelling and screaming that they're going to uninstall if the devs don't meet their demands is not enough by a long shot.

Telling isn't. Doing is.
We are ~50k at the moment and solo players are a minority. Humanly, they probably care about some people getting frustrated but on the big picture, the rest of the players are more important (SWFs and not bleeding killers anymore)

the only promise that i can gave is that i will likely stop playing like before... i'll probably do again a couple of matches sometimes, but it will be rare to find me on that game like before... i'm just sad that i invested all those hours in a game like that that didn't deserve it (or at least, it had the potential, but the devs messed up everything with their decisions during the years)

I think the game is generally going in the right direction. And yes, I'm playing solo-queue and 6.1.0 has been mostly frustration on that front.
I'll only be wary of the future if I see players like Zubat, Cope, ... giving up. Given that even here some players have no real issue on solo-queue, I'm guessing we are good.

~50k what? Players? Remember, if you took that from Steamcharts, it doesn't show the players from other platforms. You can also include to this players from consoles (PS4, PS5, XBOX one, XSX and S, Switch), Stadia, Epic Store and Microsoft store, which do not count to that playercount. I can safely say that that the actual playercount is much, much higher. I'm guessing the truw numbers are on something like 100k+

Yes, on Steam, obviously. But that number alone is enough to say a few people are only a drop in the sea.

Same for me and I’m addicted :/
