10 wins out of 12 with no gen regression
As someone who got stomped a lot in high mmr as blight(and i have a pretty good one imo), since the patch I've won 10 out of 12 matches with using: Discordance, Spirit Fury, Enduring, Shadowborn.
It's not making sense to me that before the patch I would lose 1 out of 2/3 games with gen regression perks and now when I still play against very good survivors, I managed to win almost all my games without bringing any anti gen perks( If I'll start stacking them It won't be good for the games at all).
Also I could easily tunnel people now since they barely run ds and even if they do, they'll die quickly with it's nerf.

Thats pretty bad, this is the 3rd day of the patch and i havent lost yet.
Seriously though, now that DH is effectively gone, blight and nurse need a look over. Cant say much about blight but nurse is too strong imo.
Edit: I just lost and it was because survivors used the new perks pretty well. I was going out of my way to hook people on scourge hooks because im running both PR and floods and somebody brought sabo, it was a pretty great match <3

What I don't get is that the update caused killers to stack gen regression perks when the update already increased gen repair time.
The idea for the update was to make killers try other perks, tunnel, and camp less. since chases now last way less, and gens take longer to repair but somehow, killers are doing the exact opposite.
Why? What is the excuse now?
Devs said they wanted to make these ''strats'' less viable rather than try to punish them for doing them, but so far it seems that no matter how long gens take and no matter how short the chases are, killers will always resort to these tactics.
Punishing tunneling and camping is the only way to go forward, and hopefully devs will come to the realization as well.

It is but it's not the most effective one if you really want to win games, I know that If i'll stack 2 slow down perks I'll probably win every game without trying. It is a fun build tho and I really missed having fun in dbd without feeling forced to bring the boring ruin/undying/scourge hook/dms etc.

That's exactly why I switched to this build from the old anti gen boring builds, to try and have fun. but I know that If i'll want to win easily I'll just stack the new slowdown meta perks and I'll probably be unstopoable.

There is not really an excuse. It is just that stacking Slowdown-Perks is the easiest way to play Killer. So they still do it.
@Topic:
Looks around the same for me, but I am trying different Killers. So far I only lost with Clown and Doctor. And with both I messed up a lot during those games.
Every other game was at least a 3K without Slowdown.

Idk what you expect the kill rates were 2 (50%) they were perfectly balanced but devs for some reason increased them and thatโs whatโs happened so ye killer is easy now most of us r getting 3k-4ks every round unless ur exceptionally bad even with the countless buffs

I'm just saying that it feels bizzare, I guess that the massive nerf to DH adding to all the small changes make a very big change to the gameplay. Also as blight at least, all the other exhuastion perks are good for me, I counter them easily but old DH was something else.

Survivor morale is destroyed as well everyone Iโm playing with either kills themselves on first hook or DCs instantly at the sound of a nurse or enduring and thanatophobia icon appearing because it was already painful before but now itโs just not viable as a round unless u wanna be a punching bag so thatโs another reason

Well, it might bother you in particular because you actually want to play a game and have fun working for your wins, competing agaisnt other players.
There's many others, however, that want to watch a cutscene and roleplay as if they were actually good and menacing.
Those are happy with this update.

From one side I am happy since I can FINALLY use other perks that are actually FUN instead of the lame gen regression perks I was forced to use just to stay competitive.
From the other side I think to myself what would happen If I'll just want to win at all costs and stack: Thana, eruption, overcharge etc, how miserable can this game become for the survivors now.

I didnt run any second chance perks and I'm also doing way worse. So no, it's not just about "second chances". It's about the basekit buffs for killer with nothing to compensate on the survivor side.

The other exhuastion perks can still be strong in the hands of good survivors, as a blight tho, they don't much since I'm on them again after 2 rushes. but yeah you can clearly feel how survivors aren't that good without DH(even tho I countered a few who knew how to still use the new one very well against me)

Yes it is. I can finally use Legion again with Thana. Look on the bright side... BBQ was killed, pop was nerfed, ruin is dead, AND NOED IS DEAD. Rejoice!

Thats great and all but those 50 additional charges time can be as well done in ~ 20 seconds. I reckon youre awar that survs generally tend to work on multiple gens simultaneously.

lot of Survivors are not even trying anymore... it's not that Killers are too Strong, ppl just give up very quickly.

Have you ever considered that maybe you just got better once you dropped the gen-regression perks for more chase perks? Blight dominates his chases like no other and you can now play into this strengh a lot better with your build and you get a lot more practice in as well, further improving your skill.
Slowdown perks are first and foremost a crutch for Killers like Blight and Nurse. They do not need them, they need to get better with their powers to stomp.
Hard to say. I like the baseline BT quit a lot as my teammates are no longer able to unhook me without any protection. Also I am now able to bring Off the Record as my own pocket BT.
On the other hand my teammates are still not smart enough to take over the generator when the Killer kicks it with Overcharge and then chases after me. Even Kindred lost its magic on some of them as they are still acting like they have no information at all.
Also I still got some annoying Killer perks off me: No more NoeD is true and no more Hex: Ruin. The latter was especially painful when I got chased off a 80% generator (Tinkerer) and no one would take over for me, wasting all my effort. Pop was pretty much the same and it just disappeared as well.
I say solo Q is in the same bad spot as before overall.

I'm a good blight but not a master blight, a top 30 player like you should be able to win almost every match like LilithOmen. I'm sure that if I was a master blight I wouldn't have any trouble in high mmr before the patch.

Maybe, just maybe, Survivors are having a hard time adjusting after their 2nd chance perk Crutch Meta got nerfed? It stands to reason most high MMR Survivors got there by using a bunch of Crutch perks, and abusing them. Without them, they are like fish out of water. Seriously seen this in lord only knows how many fighting games, like For Honor getting rid of the turtle meta. That or like Hunt : Showdown when they added the Red Screaming Clues or Red Warning near a boss lair if other Hunters were close. The sheer amount of shotgun campers whining was insane.
Yeah, high MMR survivors are having a rough time. That's what happens when you abuse OP crap then it gets taken away. High MMR killers are used to the bullcrap, so now it's not as bad, they can do more with less. Killer's got their stuff nerfed too. Just that Killer perks didn't have nearly as much of an impact as Survivor perks did.

I am not lying, for real, I used to 4K a lot... hard, but I was doing fairly consistently.
Now... it's much harder, and I had various 4 escapes while I could do really nothing.
I knew this patch was a huge (masked) buff to Survivors but I have confirmed it.
And I am being honest, it's my personal experience so far. I don't know about others.

The only change in BBQ is that it doesn't give BP. Otherwise, it still gives information.
POP has been nerfed, yes, but in return, killers tap generators faster and apply a mini POP of -2.5% to each hit, plus the fact that jolt, for example, no longer has a cooldown, and Thanatophobia has been buffed.

DS desperately needs to be made base kit. Make the perk give huge bonuses like BT.
Honestly (as someone who sees themself as a killer main), DS back to 5 seconds and activating off both hooks, basekit, is perfectly balanced. The exit gate changes were enough of a nerf to remove the only abuse that mattered. And that's coming from someone who cried about DH more than anyone else.

All these perks combined are still trash if you don't chase or you can't find survivors.
The tana buff is marginal, are people going nuts about it? Overcharge, again insignificant in the big picture for a perk slot.
Hitting the generators still does very little, it does something at least. I used to hit them before the patch and it was meaningless.
Survivors can speed up gens too. They have both perks and items for that.

Could it be that if 1 person didnt bring dh the other 2-3 did? And even if they didnt bring it could it be that the nurse would have lost time by respecting it just in case?

Is this so unusual? I was winning on pretty much that ratio prior to the patch without using any kind of regression, killer role has never been that hard. This may be less a result of the changes in the patch and more a result of people learning that chase and tracking perks give them wins more effectively than slowdowns.

I musn't have made myself understood, yet I felt like I was saying some pretty simple things.
The survivors who were still playing with DH used to be able to completely negate the nurse's attack with the push of a single button.
Which was, by the way, completely illogical and 100% no-skill.
Now that they don't have that option, it will force them to learn to change their gameplay, that's all.
But it doesn't change the power of the nurse. Survivors who were playing her without DH, for example, don't see any difference ๐

Wrong. I played without dead hard and I 100% see the difference with gens taking longer and chases ending faster because of BASEKIT KILLER BUFFS.

In fact, let's take the killer's point of view.
When a nurse took a DH, it was extremely penalizing for her.
This could literally allow the survivor to double the length of the chase, because by the time the nurse recovered from her fatigue, and went back on the hunt, the survivor could join an ally, heal himself, or go to a place to loop the nurse again.
Those who were used to playing with DH, will have to learn to play differently.
That's why I said that since those who didn't play with DH won't see any difference, you can't say that the nurse is stronger.
For example, in my team, nobody uses DH. And this, for a very very long time. So, for us, the fact that DH was nerfed does not make the nurse "stronger".
