15 min killer que
Its the beginning of the end lol

This is what happens when all the solo queue players stop playing. SWF takes longer to organise so there’s no one in the queue in the meantime to fill lobbies.

Well you need 4 survivor players for one match. If you nerf survivors that hard, yeah killers will have long queues.
11 -
Just play survivor? having more killers are always welcome tbh.
0 -
You know what that means. I know what that means. Everyone know what that means.
NEED. SOLO Q. BUFFS. ASAP.
8 -
nah, used to be worse, wait a couple of days
1 -
It'll keep getting worse until they turn the que incentive back on.
6 -
I’d play survivor but they turned the incentives off. Haven’t played a single game since then and won’t until it comes back. It’s not worth the effort without it.
9 -
Hah, serves them right.
2 -
I saw my first Sloppy Self Care without Botany since the patch, that was cool.
5 -
If incentive can fix it there is no issue I suppose.
1 -
And when I do find a match I get RPD, bad survivors, and I get insulted for playing a killer I enjoy :(
2 -
They should hate themself for play survivor right now or masochist.
2 -
It will certainly help, game needs regression perks to be changed. Every killer I am playing against right now just runs 4.
3 -
That's always the case for the side with shorter que time though, you can always choose to wait 15 minutes like old survivor players too.
1 -
Yea but I also want to play few killer games after work. I play both sides but now when killer queues used to be 20s its 5-8min for me while survivor is 5s all day long.
2 -
It just rotated to other side (for now), if you play both side it's overall not that different.

If it isn't the consequences of tunneling killers' own actions.
6 -
yea i don't buy it, i still find games instantly as killer and survivor
2 -
Probably not the consequences of tunneling killers own actions, because prior update it never changed despite tunneling and camping were extremely common strategy.
1 -
Uhh what?
1 -
I mean, people adviced that removing the bonus bloodpoints from BBQ was a terrible idea. But everyone argued that camping and tunneling can't get worse.
So...
1 -
We don't need specific buffs for solo queues.
We need the game to simply not be miserable for survivors.
2 -
SWF games aren't miserable at all.
0 -
Only 13% of players are SWFs, designing the game around them is just plain silly.
4 -
I am saying if it is not fun anymore, why they should play survivor

Honestly, the only time where I saw it worse was when in 2018 they decided to make separate Vials for Killer and Survivor to collect Serum for the Halloween Event. The Killer Queues were horrible, because so many players needed to play Killer to fill their Vial.
But the current Queuetimes for Killer are the worst I have seen so far outside from Halloween 2018.
And if you have a long Killer Queue and load into a game with a Survivor at Prestige 100 (so 99,9% chance that this guy is a Cheater) and you have to go into the Queue again...Eh. Not pleasant.
1 -
That is just lies though.

Dirty secret about "buffing solo queue". It won't help. No amount of information, UI, elements, hand holding, etc., will make the claudette stop hiding in a corner or cause a trolling teammate to turn helpful. Such a system would only serve to destroy what little horror atmosphere the game has and ruin a bunch of killer stealth perks/powers.
The biggest reason solo Q fails is it depends on a garbage mmr system, and the chance of said system actually grouping 4 survivors of similar skill is incredibly low.
I play with friends often but without comms. We are essentially playing "solo" together. We rarely even tell each other what builds we're running. We tend to have decent matches, not because we coordinate our builds and comms, but because we're all reasonably good survivor players. This is the true advantage that swf offers. Escaping the mmr hell random box of chocolates teammate lottery.
1 -
Um, it was literally in the last live stream.
4 -
It's the "should hate themselves" part that dropped me off.
0 -
It won't matter. They underestimated and took for granted their solo q players and now they're no longer playing the game in record numbers and they continue to lose them. We warned them and they wouldn't listen, so now we show them.

I'm a killer main, and I've stopped playing killer because queue times are too long. If queues were to go back to under 3 minutes I would be in killer queue instead of survivor queue. Something needs to be done to make survivors lives a bit less miserable. At a minimum give them more bloodpoints. Like a lot more, that 100 percent bonus is a start and then increase the BPs earned so that they're earning more. I wouldn't mind at all if survivors earned a minimum of 10k even for really bad games and 36k + for a really solid run where they escape.
2 -
You made some good points.
In order for MMR to work "properly" changes have to be made to the whole system as to what counts as a WIN. So far the only thing increasing your MMR is how often you escape through the exit gate. No matter how many gens you've done, teammates saved/healed, how long you ran the killer.... all of that doesn't matter.
So technically the bush Claudette that hasn't been seen by the killer for the entire match and waited for her teammates to do all the work so she can escape - gets +MMR while the other 3 survivors who did the gens and the looping are left to die.
Now imagine you being one of the 3 survivors who normally do the objective and are able to run the killer for a reasonable amount of time load into a lobby with 3 Claudettes... Don't need to tell you how this match is gonna go, do I?
1 -
I thought survivor was easy for killer mains lol Figures
2 -
I think he refers to 3 year old data
1 -
My queue times are longer but not 3+ min longer.
