Killers are now calling Prove Thyself a "Crutch perk" now that gens take longer and they have more slow down. It's pretty funny but it's starting to happen

I feel like Prove is very nice to have in this new era of DBD. It's more of a QoL for survivors working together imo

Because there's no way to escape unless literally gen rushing now. Since solo survivors are quitting, I expect most matches killers will have are SWF and gen rush. Then the forum will be full of complaints about gen rush till the day when even gen rushing SWF can not do a thing. Patch enjoyers should play as much as possible now, cuz it's going to be worse after a few weeks if devs don't do anything about it.

As a solo survivor I’m just doing one hit wonder gen rushing builds.
No Mither, Over zealous, resilience and prove thyself/deja vu depending on how solo I feel.
That’s 30% extra gen speed with deja vu combined with the BNPs.

PT is good enough, i think you should bring some perks will help you to survive. It is solo-q, you can not trust your teammates.

I've never heard someone say prove thyself is a crutch but ok.

By patch 7.0 all survivors will spawn into the match on hooks. The game will progress only if one or more of them manages to 4% kobe off hook. Otherwise killer wins with 50k bps and survivors get a dc penalty afterwards.
If they manage to kobe none of their perks activate until everyone is off hook.
Gens take 120 seconds base.

I've seen lots of people go after Prove Thyself over the years. With the bloodpoints per match being changed, and the generator changes, I think a lot more people will use the perk go after the perk. I hope it doesn't get a nerf.

I know it's probably wishful thinking but if "gen rush" perks become meta BHVR will hopefully realize they over buffed killers this patch and revert some of the awful changes implemented. Yeah killer feels a lot better but the extra gen time and the base reduced cool down and distance gained from a hit makes playing survivor feel godawful right now.
Any killer that calls Prove Thyself a crutch or OP is either incredibly stupid or attempting to troll, or both.

What's the issue with gen rushing perk becoming meta though? it's not like they are ridiculously broken like dead hard was, it's just new meta.

You're crutching on those perks for your lack of finger endurance in holding m1 down. There, I called you out.
It was often complained about on this forum. Not to the level of DH, but I'd say it was up there with Spine Chill, or just a notch below, in terms of grievances.

I mean after the dead hard nerf I’ve already seen people on here complaining about lithe. Some people will only be happy when all perks are as bad as self care.

Most killers I meet in post complain about literally every perk. They won't be happy until Survs just spawn in on the ground with no perks tbh lad
(I play both sides equally. It's a joke for all you pissy killers who will come in and try to get heated over this)

Its a good start but to make it perfectly balanced the Killer will have killer instinct on any injured Survivor and once they heal a timer will activate where they become injured again after 10 seconds because their stitches open for moving around too much, the game needs to be realistic or Killer players feel miserable and sad.
