BHVR revived their game
With how much of a bore the previous meta was, where there was a lack of killers (mostly afking to bring down their hidden MMR) and most of the matches were facecamping killers, this patch brought a fresh paint to Dead by Daylight. There is no reason to wait out for a Dead Hard, there is no reason to camp any longer. Killers feel like an actual threat rather than your usual punching bag. All the killers that were plagued by these survivor meta builds are now viable and enjoyable all because they decided to change the meta. Playing against SWF is no longer a problem. Solo Q is still a problem but I trust them to eventually make plans to combat that. Playing as survivor feels like putting more effort and skill instead of pressing a button and extend a loop.
Honestly, I couldn't be more happier than this. You, BHVR, did the impossible. I'm proud of you all.

there should be a asterisk whenever someone says there's no reason to camp people anymore, since wanting to be a dick or secure kills during endgame are still reasons to camp someone

Speaking as someone who gets matched up against 3-4 survivors, all with the exact same (high) prestige rank, matching cosmetics, perfectly spread perk builds, and the ability to collapse and scatter in perfect unison, I must respectfully disagree.

My queues are rather quick to be honest. I only have to wait 23 seconds to find a match as a killer and 44 seconds as a survivor.

“There is no reason to camp anymore”
While that’s true, there’s also nothing stopping you from camping. With the extended gen times and perks such as Deadlock, killers who decide they still want to camp and tunnel are going to make matches miserable.

They can actually say they did a pretty good job so far now lmfao
But of course, there's still the matter with your average Dead Hard connoisseur who don't know how to loop a killer without having a button that undoes an outplay, so of course they are still gonna complain nonstop.
I like where DbD is heading. No more free wins for survivors, they actually need to put in an effort to win. No more freaking aneurysms for killers trying to win an unwinnable game. SWF's are still a problem but a reasonably manageable one.

Nothing has changed. Killers still running meta builds that are now even more powerful, survivors are running sprint burst and some still DH. If you think anything has really changed you are sadly mistaken. There might have been a small jump in numbers on stream for June but current 30 days is showing minus 13.4% and I don't see it getting any better unless they make real changes on both sides.

killer and survivor queues have never been longer, especially killer queues, never in my life have I seen 8 minute killer queues, they used to be instant! that pretty much tells us a lot of people are not playing for a reason, pretty sure you also deny climate change LOL
