Why do i main Freddy out of all the killers, my answer

because he's the legend Freddy F*cking Krueger himself that's why, who am i supposed to main in a game about slashers except the legend himself (aside from Bubba and Michael, my big 3)

i don't care about tierlist, or what some youtuber/streamer say. I'll always be a Freddy main

    He would be much more better if he has actually a power that can use, not useless blood pools.

    To be fair Blood Pools are exactly what he uses in a lot of movies on floors or on stairways.

    The main issues of him in this game right now are his absolute terrible weak addons.

    The solution is simple: Give him Snares AND Pallets Basekit by swapping like Clown by tapping CTRL, Dream Projection by holding CTRL for a minimum of 3 secs (for programming purpose) and give him an ADDON-PASS.

    Addon: Extra Snare-Tokens, faster Teleport-Cooldown, faster Teleport-Animation, Exhausted-Effect when interacting with a snare, get it much harder to wake up / much faster to fall asleep again etc.

    Its so easy to fix him, but I know, his killrates vs. low-MMR (because only 3 people play him in higher mmr I assume) are too high, because the beginners cant deal with fake-teleports and dont know that they just have to leave a pallet when 3 snares are around it. Same with Artist btw.

    Im not saying he is not a lore-wised character, i think his power fits with his lore unlike most of peoples say. But his power is so weak and his addons are terrible. Our Dream Demon shouldnt one of the worst killers in the game.

    Thats why Im asking the Devs (when they read what I wrote) over and over again to give him at least an Addon-Pass with things I wrote here.

    @GeneralV has some really nice ideas. Show them once again, my friend!

    I always think maining a character because you like their personality, cosmetics, lore, etc is a better mindset than maining a character because of their viability

    Because no matter what, youll enjoy playing them.

    Yeah @GeneralV's ideas are really good to make him actually good killer and more fun. Unfortunately devs will doesnt listen we for at least next 5 years.

    Im curious to see his pickrate since January. I would bet there is a 2 in front, only Twins are less selected.

    Tier list are just opinion pieces. I see nothing wrong with playing as your favorite licensed, if available.

    It would be nice to have Conal Cochran or Madman Marz around, too.
