its the still the same for people who didn't use the "crutch perks"
sure SoloQ might be a bit rough but the game still feels the same in fact i've seen more ghostfaces lately, even i enjoy playing him atm, you know things have changed when you see ghostface which was extinct before this patch
I played serval games on survivor today, and honestly i manage to escape and the killers weren't bad hell they were tough but not to the point of unplayable
So my dear tryhard sweaty devoted survivors, learn and adapt, just like you told every single killer mains here who complained about something that was obviously broken or saying "just get good", well maybe its time you do the same
and im not seeing people here complain about perks, im seeing complain in GENERAL, so you wanna return to 30 mins of waiting for a game on survivor and 4 seconds on killer, and more games of only blight or nurse, because if that's the case i mean....we might as well limit the game to only those 2 killers
im gonna be honest i can give hatch right now and feel good, hell if you use dead hard and somehow manage to get it, you HAVE MY RESPECT, you managed to pull something really hard and i might even lay off you, unlike before where i just see a dead hard and just die inside
Edit : THE DEAD HARD WAS AN EXAMPLE (why the hell do people focus on the one thing that is an example i just don't get it )

Yeah I agree.
Survivors are imploding in this patch and have been since day 1.
its still early on and its hard to tell how big the changes actually are with survivors throwing, DCing, and giving up 30 seconds into a match. Presumably because they're upset about getting nerfed.

My perks are still the same since they werent changed, so which "crutch" perk did I change to make my matches worse?

I have been getting better games recently, escaping more even 4e in solo, first 2 days were horrible though. People still dc and give up on first hook but it is what it is

No it is not the same regardless of crutch perks. with Killer base kit buffs, gen repair speeds are longer, gen slow down meta stronger then ever, and tunnelling and camping are worse than ever.
It's fine though disregard the experiences being shared all over these forums as senseless blathering by a whiny player base. You'll note however that almost NONE of the feedback is lamenting the loss of dead hard. That's a self satisfied killer piece of nonsense drummed up to diminish the reams of legitimate survivor complaints. But, whatever makes you feel better while you wait in your 5 minute queues.

there many other perks that are crutch, dead was just the prime example, so you know what I GUESS BOTH, or perhaps u should change your loadout if u are losing too much.

tunneling and camping are hard to fix, and again dead hard WAS A AN EXAMPLE
and third my queues are still the same 10 seconds i find a game, im not sure why people say that QUEUES ARE LONGER, because they ARE NOT
and if u don't consider killer complains legit, you obviously never touched killer before this patch or before boons were a thing because playing killer was a nightmare or u just spammed bubba, nurse or blight

I could be using 4 old dead hards on my build it wouldnt matter since I'm low MMR and stuck there.
I'm the one focusing on the perks? You're the one who conveniently didnt mention all the other basekit buffs killers got.
It's gonna be ok, dead hard is gone, it cant hurt you anymore.

you mean the very much needed buffs for all the C and D tier killers, yes they needed them, because they were USELESS.

and yes i guess dead hard can't hurt me anymore, but now i more of respect it when someone gets it and oh yea they can't loop my pig, ghost, and sadako main butt for the next 4 DAMN GENS dead harding to the next loop over and over or was that considered FAIR?
and honestly MMR got a giant reset, i highly recommend getting out of low MMR, run a full on SoloQ build and move up if u are playing for the team in soloQ then u aren't asking to win

Your drawing a lot of conclusions based on nothing that I said but here are my opinions on that stuff since you "asked". I think a nerf (deletion) of dead hard might have been enough to try for this patch alone. The basekit buffs which help the strongest killers too (nurse, blight) were absolutely unnecessary.
The other perk changes are irrelevant since BHVR basically bricked them. I mean calm spirit and Pharmacy were worse after the "buffs". Iron Will is dead with the exhaustion addition.
If the devs felt the need to increase gen repair speeds, they should have paired that with longer hook timers to make camping at least the same effectiveness.
I have played killer, Doctor and Hill Billy are my two favorites. I'm ok with them and could reliably get to purple ranks back in the old rank days.
If your queues are instant I am curious what hours you play, cause my experiences are instant queues in the morning, day time, and evening with survivor. Maybe the graveyard shift hours are better for killer now? /shrug

yea no evening and day time the game always feels dead before or after this patch, i recommend playing from 9 pm to up, you can find games easily

I'll stick to my normal play times which get me matches in 5 to 10 seconds as survivor. But I'll wait until the corrective patch, that fixes so much of this BS

Survivors always the same.
Old DH was probably the only crutch perk, I used it and I said it was too strong (even though many people say it wasnt) still using DH and still getting good uses from it

I'm still enjoying the perk, gives me a chuckle too because of the animation lol but its saved my life at least once per game minimum.
It just takes more effort and planning to use like lithe etc. But it's still good, just not free distance anymore which is fair enough tbh

Everyone, and I mean what I say, EVERYONE complained about MMR. No matter if they were Survivor mains, Killer mains, or Both-Siders. Everyone complained about MMR because it didn't work.
It still doesn't.

Ofcourse it's hard, now they have to rely on their ability to loop and mindgame, rather than pressing 1 button to ignore mistake.

What loadout should I use that will help my teammates not go down in under 10 seconds to a powerless Oni? Let's assume I have a fairly good idea about where my MMR is, and that it can't functionally go higher to get better teammates.

Patch is bad. Survivor meta got shaken up massively, but Killer meta hasn't really deviated from stacking slowdown perks and tunneling.

Killers should be the power role in the game. It's still 4 vs 1. Add in comms and it's even more tilted in one direction.
I think BHVR looked at the kill rates and said they need to be higher. With SWF that's going to be tough. The killer has been givin nothing to compensate for the coordination and communication the survivors get.
Perhaps BHVR wanted to change that. Make it more fair for killers. I think it is a great patch so far. We all just need to learn to adapt.

Survivor has gotten harder. Killer has gotten easier. Neither are too hard, neither are too easy. I think now it's balanced, but here's the problem.
A lot of survivors suck. A lot. They mess around instead of doing objectives still, because before there wasn't as much pressure on doing gens. Once people realize you really have to work for your escape now, it will get better.

The consensus seems to be that DBD is a "party game." At least, I hear that rather frequently from people who have, shall I say... healthy relationships with the game.
I've never agreed with that sentiment, at least, I don't believe the developers sought to create a "party game." But the game's inability to challenge SWFs certainly facilitated an environment in which players grew to love DBD for its casual nature.
Some survivors might drop the game altogether if they didn't sign up for the challenge--some people just don't like to play seriously.
