Is a player allowed to sell Stranger Things dlc in dead by daylights to another player?

I would like to know if I buy a dlc from a site outside of Steam or Epic Games, can I use it in the game without risking being banned, can anyone help me?

Sounds like a scam to me I wouldn't do it, however I'm pretty sure if you buy the nightmare edition of the game it comes with the characters, it would be good if you don't have alot of characters but if you have almost everyone except stranger things I don't think it would be worth it but that's just my opinion

i think you should worry more about the integrity of the vendor instead of being banned for activating (i assume) a dlc key. i dont think there's a nightmare edition for the PC so it's i think actually impossible to get it in an official way on the steam or epic games platform.

Yes, this is technically allowed. Its like buying any other game key, its the same like DLCs. Recently bought Fall Guys Steam Key after it got pulled out from Steam. No issues, works fine.

just be careful WHERE you actually buy it from. There are legit and trustworthy key resellers but also shady scammers. I personally had no issues with G2A but there are better options for sure

I'd be worried you are getting scammed and the key wouldn't work because I thought they had put an expiration date on them when ST was leaving. Only definite way to get ST is using a disc copy of Nightmare Edition for ps/xbox.

I'm fairly certain that purchased keys are valid forever, until used, so I believe you can still legitimately acquire ST this way, and I don't know why you would get banned. I'd be more worried about buying a redeemed/invalid key than any consequences from BHVR.

From personal experience, yes, you can still purchase the DLC via a steam key, just make sure you get it from a trusted source. It's not bannable, all you're doing is activating a game DLC key.

Only thing is, they will be expensive as you can't purchase them any other way anymore, so probably about £35+ for the stranger things dlc.

Any steam key to my knowledge is valid until actually redeemed by someone once it's purchased. The only time a steam key is revoked is if the developer asks for specific keys to be revoked, which is very rare except in the cases of, say a chargeback unless that developer really wants general backlash. The main issue would be, as others have already said, with the actual key reseller giving you an already redeemed key and if you can get an alternate key or refund if that happens to you.
