Killer queue is eternal
I was a main killer, playing 99% of time with killer role.
Looks like now that playing killer is not a miserable experience that many main survivors are now playin killer just because it´s easier.
BHVR need to increase the amount of BPs for players that are playing the most needed role.

It's almost like playing survivor is trash now and nobody wants to do it. What a shocker when you nerf all the survivor perks, barely nerf killer perks and give them tons of good stuff base kit.

Definitely one of the worst parts of this update. Even on the evening killer queues are atrocious. Also, playing killer has never been a miserable experience if you were of above average skill. Survivors are just acting like entitled babies right now.

Don't worry, they will turn incentives back on.
But keep in mind, 100% more of a nickel it's a dime. Would you bother being used a punching bag in order to earn a dime, when you still won't be able to buy anything with it?

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. My three go-to builds survived completely intact and now that survivors had some time to adjust to the new killer speeds things got pretty much back to normal. Games feel much more fun and fair now, though, and surviving isn't a givin, but needs at least some good decisionmaking and looping skills during the trial.
Killer queues got longer indeed, because a lot of players for the first time feel confident enough to try out killer for real, instead of getting dominated, crushed and laughed out of the game. During peek hours my killer queues are finally sub 1min, though, because, gosh, people still enjoy playing SWF in the evening. I see this a win win for everyone.

Unfortunately most people will take the path of least resistance and play whatever role is easier to win with, instead of the role they think is the most fun mechanically.

Since survivor role is harder, making BP´s is harder now... Often I do 10k... that´s too little.

I understand incentive wasn't working but why not activate a temporary bonus for survivor side in the meantime, killer queue is long even at night, was instant before, don't leave it like that for weeks ? please ?

im not playing survivor again until they buff the bps. I’m not sitting through another 30 minute thanat legion game for 20k bps.

My queues went from instant to about a minute. Do not get me wrong, I dislike that. I am the guy who was fine with how survivor sided the game was because it meant short queues and... Nothing changed. I play killer during the night, naturally. I imagine during the day the queues are as grueling as ever. That is when I dust off my girl Yun Jin from Jenshin Impact. She is into music.

Even free aurics will not make me to play this garbage role. They should fix survivor problems, who cares about 100% BP bonus while you are dying with 10k.

If the matchmaking incentive were iri fragments (or even double xp) it would be 10x better. I don't need more bloodpoints, this is the easier currency to get in the game. I would accept anything that makes me purchase a costume for the cost of less than a month worth of grinding.

I don't think giving them extra BP's is gonna work. Cuz survivors did get 100% bonus BP's for a while, but killer ques were still really bad.

My killer queues went back to being instant last night. (USA midwest region) I think a new Tome coming out often messes with the queues a bit, but everyone usually assumes it's the patch that caused the change. Things usually even back out before long.
I do think that in this case giving survivors a huge BP bonus and then ripping it away may have done some damage, but I have no proof of that.

My survivor queues all night were basically instant (Central US region), no change at all.

I actually cant believe people are so up in the clouds they believe that people are playing killer because its 'bareable' now lol.....
People are playing because its easy and survivor is awful. Simple as.
Im still waiting to see how many people can screenshot survivors taking advantage of that amazing 40k bp limit lol.

Maybe if killers stopped camping and tunneling at five gens like their lives depend on it then it would not be like that.

My queues are pretty close to what they used to be.
The thing with the path of least resistance is true. However with the MMR, said difficulty tends to increase so the ones who are only switching because of that don't stay for long.

Since survivors had long queues before the patch, what does that say about the status of the game?

- It's not that bad right now. My killer queues were about 2 minutes during the anniversary, and are maybe 2.5 minutes now. My survivor queues have been fast for a while now.
- Nobody likes being nerfed, even when that nerf was badly needed. It's going to take a while to adjust.
- Once they are sorted out, the incentives will help queue times immensely.
- Yes, I'd anticipate some people jumping over to killer now that things are a bit different. That's not a bad thing.

I disagree i am having tons of fun playing survivor without the queue timez being terrible.
Now they just need to crack down on all the people dcing and killing themselves on first hook for no reason.

I see your point but I believe you are a little bit off there.
Before the patch Survivor queue was instant and killer queue was long during daytime, it changed some time in the evening when the SWF’s started playing.
What does that tell you?

Well, this is what the killers wanted. Easy 4k's and no ways for survivors to help themselves (AKA the perk nerfs). Survivors are leaving or switching to killer, nobody wants to play a role where there's no chance of winning.

Yep, I have around 5-6 friends who stopped playing survior or this game, I log into discord and i see all of them play other stuff.

BT was buffed. WGLF now gives Endurance when picking someone up and DH still works.
But yes, there is no chance of winning if everyone suicides/disconnects for no reason at all.

This is my exact point, the killers are getting upset about something, THEY pushed for and now that survivors are choosing to suicide , DC, switch sides or straight up leave DBD. They're calling it out and saying we're ruining the experience.
Dont get me wrong, the perks change were fine to me. It's just the killers getting buffed unreasonably that gets me

Since solo survivor is not fun at the moment. A lot of teammates cannot handle the change as it seems, and it seems like tunneling and camping has even increased, at least in my region. I dont see any reason to be part of that at the moment.
Also, i have a long list of games i bought and never played, because DBD was very fun for me. I am catching up right now.

This tells you that people would rather play Killer than solo q even before the patch. At night when your friends are online you would rather play SWF.
After the patch Killer is closer to SWF level and solo is so far behind that people would rather not play it.

The role they can´t play with their friends? People have archive challenges for both sides. People have dailies for both sides. Unless you want to miss out on half the game, its best advised to play both sides. I wouldn´t play killer, when my friends are waiting to play together with them. Would you?

bt wasnt really buffed since it gives less distance then ever now. you can just smack a unhooked person instantly off the hook to negate bt/off the record and then just catch up in 16seconds as opposed to the old 20

It gives more distance, since survivors get a speed boost along the endurance effect. Also old BT gave 12 seconds. Not 20.

i mean on hit distance gains. like a killer used to take 20seconds to catch up after hitting a health/endurance state to finish the deal. they nerfed the survivor speed boost duration and buffed killer hit recoverey nerfing it by a big amount making it easier to tunnel people off hooks than it has been in a while
