I played against multiple Clowns in the last two days who seemed way more effective than normal. I guess that's the explanation, lol.

Yikes -- if that's what the issue was, then that would explain a LOT about the last two Clowns I went up against. 😯

I just started using clown and didn't get any permanent haste effect... would have been helpful lol

I play Clown infrequently, but I did play him on stream since the update once. I rarely use the yellow bottles (I'm a learning Clown, lol), but in this match, giving the last survivor hatch, I did use my yellow bottles to move around the map quicker, and the haste icon did vanish after the effect should have ended. I THINK I was moving at regular speed again after that, but it wasn't for long (we were near the hatch), so I can't be 100% sure. Maybe it's a bug that was only occuring off and on and not every time, if that was the issue? I'd love if BHVR was more clear as to what was happening, since with Clown being killswitched, it's not like anyone can take advantage of it now.

I do think an addon to vastly increase the invigoration duration for yourself if you hit a survivor with a yellow bottle would be a pretty good idea

The only think I really hate about something like this is ... that Clown stays in the daily rituals pool and you will have about a 95% chance of drawing "Rite of the Clown".

I had a game where clowns were throwing antidotes at me. It made no sense. Then I've read about the first issue.
That issue was pretty difficult to trigger though. I've tried to confirm the bug myself but what survivor will stay to get the effect at the same time as the clown, on purpose?
The second issue though, with the stun, I didn't know about. It may be easier to get and the reason for the killswitch.

cool, and what about ONI and his "constant" Enrages ( i just had him enrage 3 times around my hook making it impossible for somebody to save me) oh I forgot you cannot killswitch him since there is a new cosmetic

hooked survivors stay still...which is why it became such an issue.

I would be happy. I love Clown and would save the daily for the return of my jiggly boi. Better than another nasty Artist daily. The game really thinks I want to play that trash. No, thank you.

This was me, my bad guys.
Well while I highly doubt it was me alone I made a detailed bug report the other day about an exploit. Basically, if you got invigorated by the Afterpiece Antidote while getting pallet stunned you would gain the 10% haste effect permanently.
Some players made reports about seeing Clowns with the bug on PS4. And I found it on PC a few days ago and made a report the same day.
Hopefully we'll all be able to laugh about this in the future.

Specific thing I saw to do to make it work: hit surv with speed bottle then wait in the cloud until it's totally gone, then just don't throw another.

The Oni double blood is quite abusive as well. Can we get that killswitched?

Well I hope it will not take a month to fix it like last time when a Killer was killswitched (Nurse) for a whole month if I remember correctly. Killswitched things that are big (Characters) should not be something to wait weeks to be fixed. It should be ASAP even if you have to push another small hotfix just for that.

I just woke up and saw the post and I went to check, and I think something's wrong with my Clown, cuz I can Q up normally xD Would it be mean to play him? Maybe my game needs extra time to catch up

I noticed a few unintended things going on after the last patch. One with kindred was giving me the ability to see all survivors even after they were unhooked. They have their work cut out for them.

I’ll see how long I last playing Freddy and pinhead but it won’t be easy. Better this than a bunch of clowns exploiting the bug though
