What can we do against VPN players.....
Its honestly making the game unplayable and its happening more and more. I keep seeing Chinese players who are most likely using a vpn to tunnel to the us and anytime you are near these players your framerate and lag just increase. It is happening so much I wish there was a way to just end the match when a players ping is just too high to compensate and let everyone go back into the que at the top. Something needs to be implemented tho as i am seeing it at least 3 times a night.

As someone whose wifi has recently been ass, I'd also like to see my ping when I'm killer

We never know its bad until the match starts its like just put a ping bar next to everyones name of course survivors cant know who the killer is but at let us know if their ping is horrible so we can quickly exit before the match starts. I feel like its gotten worse with this last patch maybe more information is being shared with clients and servers then before I dunno but I definately never noticed it until now ive even turned off xrossplay in the hope that it would help which it does mildly

Killers having bad ping doesn't give killers a 100% advantage though, it can go either way.
I had a game against Freddy who was lagging like hell. I was opening an exit gate, he ran up to me, swung at me, should have hit me, except he got teleported 10 meters backwards before it hit.
I opened the gate, he reached me again, and downed me a few feet form the exit line. I crawled out, and then he picked me up, after I had already escaped, until it was rolled back and I vanished from his grasp.

yeah, really no excuse why they cant display killer pings(no other info at all of course), especially with killers like bubba and demogorgon that require tight timing to get stuns on or you either lose a pallet instantly or get hit through it

It's annoying, but there isn't much you can do. It's also not an advantage - from the killer's POV, the survivors are teleporting around the map.

That's been a thing for a long time. I don't believe there's a way that they can fix it. Someone else might be able to though.

If you hover over it it shows your exact ms. If you want something in game like PUBG has a setting to see all that stuff like packet loss in game... Yeah they don't have an option for that.

Yeah I'm sick of the hit validation and how it rewards laggy Killer interactions lol, I'd love to be able to see the killers ping so I can dodge if its at an unbearable high.

I love it when killers lag so bad they jitter aroundthe map. Pallet Stunning is more likely to throw them to your side of the pallet

It is an advantage as long as your ping isn't too high and your internet is stable you can just play a m1 killer and win every tile because you can swing through pallets and hit people seconds after they get dropped. It's also very hard to loop these killers because the true distance between you and the killer isn't as it seems throwing off hours of distance management. You have to drop a lot of pallets and drop them earlier.

Trust me, it's not. I sometimes have wonky ping when I travel, and even 400 or so makes it a crapshoot whether any hit is doing to land. Sometimes it'll be a hit I shouldn't have gotten, but just as often I'll whiff straight through someone and they suddenly teleport away.
