For those who are having a bad time with this update
Which are mainly Survivor players obviously.
I hope you stopped playing. Or else they won't really have an incentive to fix anything from this garbage update.

I'm not touching survivor unless I have a 4-man squad and I'm having a blast with other games while waiting for OW2's launch.

Nah, I need to get to the end of that rift. The cute little carousel is mine, and honestly, once they add matchmaking incentives back, I will be on killer again. I can tolerate it for the time being.

I love the little carrousel too it will be perfect on my Elephant Clown's hook with the clown box (dont remember the name) and the monstrous cake from twitch (dont know the name in english too)

Totally agree. No matter what I play, solo or swf, all I found was camping and tunneling to the max, all sweaty and stressful games. We died a lot, but nothing changed. I assume MMR is also broken as well. Time to take a break.

I'm having fun playing Solo queue Survivor. The only games I have a bad time are when other Survivors off themselves on first hook to inflate Kill rates or rage quit for whatever asinine reason they make up in their heads. Currently working on getting Gold Rank IV, then up to Gold Rank One. May continue to see if I can get to Irri.

I'm honestly not having that bad of a time in solo queue. It was horrid the first few days, but now that I'm seeing fewer compulsory suicides, it's... mostly the same as it always was. Sometimes your teammates are idiots, sometimes the killer is a scumbag, and sometimes it's fun.
Also, yeah, I'm grinding that rift while double fragments are a thing.

Do you really think they care if you stop playing as long as you keep buying DLCs and cosmetics?
I play DbD a lot and I don't plan on stopping as long as I have fun playing.
I haven't given them a cent since the RE chapter dropped over a year ago. If you want to send them a message you gotta hit them in the wallet.

I have mixed feelings about this advice.
I'm coming off a 6-month hiatus, because I was upset with the state of the game, and I was displeased with the trajectory DBD appeared to be on.
This update has been painful, but I support BHVR's decision to shake things up and attempt to make change. The intent and the effort is more important to me than the execution.
I want to see the execution done properly, but I'll only boycott the game if I get the sense that BHVR is not putting their best foot forward.
DBD doesn't owe me anything, but I recognize the effort BHVR is making and I wan't to give them my support. More than anything, they need our criticism--rational and thoughtful criticism.

Of course they do. The people who stop playing also will stop spending money because why waste it on something you don't even play anymore?
If you're unhappy with the current state of the game (i'm assuming that since you said you stopped spending money since RE) to the point you stopped spending money but still play, it's really not going to do much.

Survivor right now is pretty bad state esoecially soloQ if killer does not "play fairly". Many my games end when killer camps effectively 3 gen area. Well there is some blowouts as well too where killer gets everyone at 3-5 gens. It's real struggle to escape now. My killer games are not much better thought I get matched with 4 man swf and everyone is good looper they know to do gens. It's possible to beat them but I had to work for it. Feels this game is so unfair when I play survivlr killer gets it easy cause my teammates sucks but when I play killer I get these tournament teams.

Why is it garbage? The only bad things with this update is a few bugs, the tax to prestige and no bonus bp
