Will the patch be rolled back?

Will Solo be buffed?

Will Killer be nerfed?

Will Thana be nerfed?

THE SUSPENSE

    100%

They will do nothing but keep buffing killers more, throwing some meaningless buff to survivors, but the fact remains survivors only has very bad perks now, which get turned off endgame, and no counter to camping and tunneling.

The only counter to play in SWF whose life to play the game and be extremely coordinated.

I think best to play killer, with stacked slowdown, EZ

I'm 100% expecting huge killer nerfs, huge survivor buffs, and nothing changed to the mandatory 20k bp nodes. Absolute circus.

They need to buff solo, there is no other way. Bring that text wheel to soloq!

Why would killer be nerfed? I thought survivors crying only about tunneling and camping.

Killers dont Need to be nerfed becasue SWF are still Way to strong

They Need to revert the DS Stun nerf and give Solo Survivor more ways 4 Communication like Baskit Kindred

    Another set unnecessary changes...

    As always.

Maybe little tweaks but nothing major I assume. This patch just made it so teamplay and some sort of coordination is more important than ever if you actually want to escape; which is why I guess swf is still fine, but solo-q players were left mostly discouraged and annoyed. It feels like a lottery if you can be teamed up with players who will actually try to work on an escape, meaning actually doing gens when not in chase etc and not dc'ing after 1 down/hook. Problem being, as others have said, buffing solo-q would in turn buff swf and then killers would be the ones posting threads demanding nerfs. The DBD saga continues..

Probably that solo queue info they've been talking about. Probably won't see it until after the next anniversary though.

Lol, if anything they'll probably nerf prove thyself because too many players use it, then buff killers more

Kind of hard to say. Most of the new meta slowdowns and regressions aren't contingent on success, so there may be an effort to close the skill gap between the low-middle-high skilled players. If that's their goal (albeit super misguided for a pvp game), then the patch was wildly successful and they're probably happy with it.

If that's not the case, Overcharge and Eruption probably get cut in half. Hook timers possibly extended by 10 seconds, which was a massive oversight IMO.

In either scenario, matchmaking needs to be tighter if survivor actions are going to be more consequential. And there needs to *finally* be a fix for backfill logic.

That's likely the strategy, focus on the next Chapter and hope people forget lol

I'm not sure they'll do anything.

From what I've seen, beside throwers largely found in low MMR (obviously) the matches were more or less fine, about 50% of the time.

At this point I have 0 confidence in BHVR or their decisions regarding the game. They acknowledge issues with the game and either never follow up or just bury it. They have been saying for years that they acknowledge their broke ranking system and the tedious grind and you see what we got as their "fixes".

I genuinely hope for some soloQ improvements. Though I doubt it heavily...

Nerfing Killer is really just a huge step backwards - Killers desperately needed buffs, taking them away won't fix anything. All that'd achieve is having two near unplayable roles ingame like we used to.

As for Thana, it's probaply gonna get a nerf. Not that I think it necessarily needs one, but it was fine prior to the buff so reversing it wouldn't be a big loss either IMO.

Not necessarily a giant step backward; it would depend on the scope of the changes. Killers needed buffs, but the extent of them is what could change.

True. When people don't DC or kill themselves on hook the games are actually pretty fair. Most of the problems with this patch are actually caused by survivors.

They have shown many times they have that sunk cost fallacy mindset.

So, generally they never roll back anything. They rely on number tweaks. Then, if that doesn't solve the issue, they introduce something new that is either completely broken, or totally useless. And then proceed as if it was a complete success and push out the new batch of cosmetics.

Yes, change and people complaining about that change are the only certainties.

I think they'll partially roll back some of the buffs. STBFL will probably be nerfed and so will Thana.

What I don't think they'll do is implement any functional anti-tunneling measures or improve the 5s BT, which is a goddamn pity.

Also Calm Spirit will probably still be worse than bringing no perk for no reason.

I guess I'll make an actual prediction:

STBFL and Thana will be nerfed. DS will have its 5 second stun duration restored. Basekit BT will be raised from 5 seconds to 7.

That's about it, and all there should be atm.
