But you still get the Perk, at Tier 1.

The only difference is now you don't have to go "find" it in a Bloodweb. You just have it and when it finally did show up in a Bloodweb, it'd be the Tier 1 version.

    That's what hasn't changed.

The reason is obvious, I can't believe you guys can't see it. Seriously, it's so easy to understand. The moment I read this I understood it immediately. Such an easy decision to understand, just make a bit of effort. Super easy.

The changes are good for exactly 1 goal. If you want to keep all perks available for everyone, the changes are fantastic. That grind no longer has exponential growth on it and new characters will be starting out with tons of perks.

However... that's basically the only case that is better. Want rare addons? Worse. Only care about having all perks on one survivor? It’s worse. Was running BBQ or WGLF every game? It's worse.

What I hate is leveling up a character I'm never going to use, having all the perks unlocked already, and just buying stuff i will never use. Don't know why but at least going for perks made it seem more worth it.

And also, once you are out of perks, it takes the entity longer to spawn in. Most webs you can grab a perk within 2-3 nodes and the entity will spawn. When there aren't perks it takes guaranteed 5 purchases before the entity comes in.

I think level 20 is when the 2 perks are guaranteed to spawn. So bare minimum, 2 extra nodes, at bare minimum cost is an extra 6000 bp, or 180,000 BP per prestige level.

I know it's not really extra and I may sound petty but I notice it.

Being forced to pay taxes to actually access content is definitely why I play video games.

Yes they are just will take time to adjust and set up the means for it to spawn high tier gear at level 1 after prestige

Here are my problems with the prestige changes:

    1. We're forced to do it. We shouldn't be taxed on something we're forced to do.
    2. It's yet more screens (eating up time like the old repeated level 50 screens).
    3. When an event rolls around, if you are at a low level, your chances of getting event items in the web are going to be crap (unless the devs have a plan for this). You'll have to get to those higher levels to get level 50 size webs.

In my opinion, once you've earned all the prestige rewards, they should reduce the number of webs to reach the next prestige. Make every web a level 50 web, but maybe you only have to clear 20 or 25 instead of 50 to reach that next prestige. They could even do that after the first 1-50. With as many nodes as these webs would have, it would still have the same effect. It just wouldn't align with the idea of 1-50 (since the number of webs would be lower).

    What? No, it has changed.

Now, when you go find it in a bloodweb, you'll find tier 2, because your character already has tier 1.

    That's not what I said.

I said getting the Perk at Tier 1 has not changed.

Then: The first time you find the Perk it will be Tier 1 in a Bloodweb.

Now: You are instantly given Tier 1 of the Perk.

This was in response to the complain that "all of my shrine Perks are Tier 1" because if someone has Tier 1 Perks in their inventory right now, that they bought from the shrine, then that means those are character who had yet to find said Perk in their Bloodweb and unlock a higher Tier of it so they were just given Tier 1 by default.
