Pain Res + Dead Man = New meta (again, but stronger)
with 30 seconds cooldown you can use it even more offten and 30 sec is allready good to push away people from that gen.

The nerf is healthy because it doesn't reward camping as much
45s is almost an entire hook stage, 30s is only half a hook stage.

Can't prople still just let go of the gen to deny DMS? and since there is no notification, the killer won't 100% go to the gen? I fail to ser how its stronger now when it has even more counterplay.

Just because the cooldown is lower doesn't mean it's stronger, it just means that the perk is activated for less time. If it takes you 15 seconds to approach the generator, then you don't get much Dead Man's value now.

They said the duration is 30 seconds. They didn't say anything about the cooldown.
It's possible it'll be reduced as well, so it works like it does now where it can always be active, but it's also possible there'll now be a 15 second gap where it's dormant.

Yeah there's no information for the killer. So unless they make a lucky guess and physically go to the gen and force them off then you can just deny the DMS and keep working on it.

You can get a notification on top of this if you run surveillance as well but at that point you're dedicating 3 perks to this whole thing

it's easily one of the strongest perk combos pre-patch and almost every killer was running it. It's a very obnoxious build to go against
if you play solo you can't trust the teammate in your gen to let go to avoid dms before it activates or to stay on the gen before the dms timer ends. There is also no way to clearly communicate that this is the right play. this combo just screws up solo players a lot

But the point of the meta change was to nerf perks that was used the most even of they weren't too meta.
But reverting back pain resonance to what it was before goes against that. Now killers are going to be using it a lot again

It was probably the most played combination pre-patch. And now its even better as DMS can basically be activated without cooldown.

Self-Care is a QOL perks for solos. It helps to play the match. Pain Resonance and Dead Man's Switch is played to win matches.
