Solo queue portrait icons?
What happened to this idea the devs introduced a while back? Won't this be a no-brainer to add? Closes the gap between swf and solo queue and you can balance the weaker killers accordingly?

They're still planning it but its been put on the backburner from what I remember. Won't see it for a long time, think they plan for it in mid-late 2023.

Super great! Also some sort of active notifications (from a wheel e.g.), like "Going for save", "Request help here (unhook, finish my gen, heal me, do totem)"

Uhh man , i wish the promise of the devs of changing the Hud for something "USEFUL" was a reality. we can only dream untill ts done i guess😪

The Leatherface one is the best and I would bring it honor. And hibiscus, because that is what my autocorr3ct that literally cannot correct the word autocprrect was changing the word honor to.

I mean, it would only make sense for Bubba to use his inspired icon. If the icon didn't show up, all the survivors would think it's bugged anyway. Have to honor/hibiscus something that is dedicated to you.

The devs commented a bit ago that the icons are still planned eventually but got tabled from the pipeline because of all the other stuff in the 2022 roadmap like the big perk rework and bots and such. So they'll eventually get back to finishing them but it might not come out until next year (unless maybe they were really close to being done and the devs find a spot in Q4 2022?)

In my opinion implementing this feature is way more important than for example the planned Mori rework. SoloQ has been suffering for a long time and now would be a great time to give them more tools for overall balanced gameplay.

I’d like to see the solo icons too, but I admit personally I’m looking forward to messing around with bot matches so… 🤷♂️.

Hey just look at SpineChill change from what they PROMISED it to be. Now don't get me wrong ALL games should have accessibility options for anyone who plays but when you have a good viable option in the mobile game for the exact reason as why they changed SpineChill to a Killer Radar system just for people of hard of hearing is just wrong when you could of done the same thing. As the mobile game does.

Well like with Camping and Tunneling SoloQ will be a tricky slope because they will need to give something to SoloQ that will buff them but not buff SWFs in turn like dealing with TOXIC campers and tunnelers without punishing players who use them correctly or that can be abused by both Survivors and Killers.
Yea the Hud upgrade would help considerably so would have a certain perk basekit.

I agree. They can't buff Solo Q with out buffing SWF, and they cant Nerf SWF without severely damaging Solo Q.
The only true way for camping and tunneling to stop is for the players playing the killer to make the decision not to tunnel or camp.
The HUD Icons would help a lot as I can run a killer for 90 seconds and no gens pop, im wondering what the hell my team mates are doing that entire time.

Now I don't condone camping at 4 or 5 gens but I expect it when I play my CoH ShadowStep booner.....I expect the killer to get me out of the Game asap once they find out it's me lmao
