The REAL problem no-one is talking about with DBD...
.. Daily Rituals.
I only play killer and don't understand why I have to get quests for survivors i never play and only have because they came with the killer.
I love the idea of the unique challenges that make you play killer in a unique way.
Why not have a tickbox where I can select which roles I play?

It should be 3 survivor rituals and 3 killer rituals
Difficulties Easy, Normal and Hard
Easy gives you 50K BP
Normal 75K BP
Hard gives you 100K BP plus 1000 Shards
Plus 1 weekly survivor and killer rituals
That give 200K BP and 2000 Shard

A super easy solution would be to have 2-3 daily rituals with at least one guaranteed for each role. Why Bhvr hasn't done this? Idk, maybe to encourage more people to focus on tome challenges (making them more likely to buy it)

BP reward is so miniscule to the point we'd rather ignore it entirely.

I'd imagine the idea is at least partially to encourage you to play the other side, much like the role queue incentives will.
I think having three killer rituals and three survivor rituals every day would achieve the same effect, though.

The only survivor who has any type of "appeal" - would be Ash from evil dead. he does not have his chainsaw or boomsthcik though..

Very good idea. Rank BP payout of rituals based on difficulty and give more choice to players.

I realy like the idea of difficulty - especialyl for particuilar Killers.
Like the cannibal has one which is "down 4 survivors with chainsaw" for hard you could "down 2 surviors within the same chainsaw sweep"

It's to get people playing both roles. It's healthy for the game and you'll be a better killer if you're familiar with survivor.
You get to reroll your daily rituals once a day anyway. Don't want to play survivor? Reroll, and put up with whatever you get next.

Exactly most of the time I don't pay attention to the dailies I kind of glance at them.
Something like that but, I would rather have it as whatever killer or survivor you wanted to play as to do the ritual.
The weekly could be a specific killer and survivor I guess

I get why people think that daily rituals are like this to get you to play the opposite role of what you're used to.. but personally I think it's just really old/outdated game design that they never got around to changing
Deathgarden (another BHVR game) had the perfect system for daily rituals and it should've migrated over to DBD but never did. It's a simple fix, but I think they're focused on other things and daily rituals has never been one of them.

mostly get killer one not survivor and I play both roles 50/50
