Endgame
So if a team absolutely destroys me , and I get literally 0k I'll just open the gates for them . However 9/10 times they just tea bag and run in circles literally forcing me to smack them out of the gates . I get it it's only 2 min of the game where I can just go and break pallets or whatever but I'm ######### done with it . I wish there was some type of forfeit thing where I can just leave endgame early (without a penalty and to where the surv still get all the points they normally would) so I can move on to the next match quicker without as much frustration .

This is why I always make it a point to leave as soon as I know my teammates are safe. No point in being a jerk and rubbing your win in someone's face. Unfortunately some players are just like that, but at least we can all point and laugh at how pathetic they are.

It would be cool if after you open the gate you could go to the barrier and hold a button to escape like the survivors. It doesnt even have to end the match the survivors can still stay in and do their healing and tbagging till the very last second if they want too.

This is actually a pretty cool idea! Or just literally hook yourself for failing The Entity :P
1 -
Or maybe like a samurai style throw yourself on your sword in the basement ritual
3 -
Id rather do that than have to deal with annoying endgame tea baggers lol
3 -
When this happens to me I'll just go stand in a corner facing the walls so they can't get anymore points from me.
0 -
Yeah ... but they will literally waste 2mins of your life EVERY.SINGEL.TIME.
1 -
oh well i have a pc to mess around on when that happens.
1 -
Well, yeah, me too, and I refuse to let myself being BMed, so I won't approach the exit gates with a 30ft stick, but still, its so draining and boring.
I really hope for the day they introduce a general perk called "Just Leave". When you crouch 3times in 1s or you get slugged 0,5m away from the exit zone, you can't leave for 1min. Would have it equipped on all my builds forever.
1 -
Yea for real. That would be a nice addition. Would also be nice if people weren't toxic but this is DBD.
0 -
Yeah ... you play nice and then it gets to their heads how awesome they play and its some "gg ez, babykiller" in the post game chat :P But well, these are like all 15ys old who think they are the greatest gift to earth. They can't do anything about their brains being still underdeveloped, so just give them a couple of years to mature.

Ye, in certain situations there ought to be a forfeit/tap out option. - For killers in situations like these and also for survivors (the whole slugging the last two to prevent hatch from even spawning) as well.
That being said, what I like to do when that happens to me: use the time to practise whatever M2 the killer I play has. - Or to go back to a tile where I didn't do well and try to figure out what went wrong / how I should play that in the future. Or just try to hug a tile/object that you can easily get stuck on as tightly as possible. It's two minutes well spent, all things considered.

you do realize they they get points for that....bold for being in your terror radius, and distraction/protection hits. I don't condone the tea bagging but I will stay until pushed out for the bloodpoints. Survivors have so few ways to earn them especially if the match was lopsided.
I used to leave the exits to give the killer a hook, hoping to trade hooks a few times for the altruism and the killer would get bloodpoints for all the hooking and hitting to. It's risky now with the camping and soloq team mates that will just leave you there.

Just take your lick and throw basement bubba on the next match. Watch those teabaggers have the most unfun game of their lives hanging indefinitely in the basement. The best part is the salty tears being shed in the post game lobby.

if it makes you feel better if i ever go against you and my teammates do that ill give you a kill. if me and my teammates win or destroy a killer that does nothing bad I will just let him hook me if those survivors are teabagging
0 -
Just hit them. You get more blood points from hitting them. Instead of staring at their ass for 2 minutes you can get them out a lot faster if you just hit them.
Do you guys want to complain or extra blood points?
1 -
Two minutes usually becomes like, 30 seconds, if you force them out. Just saying. The reason a killer can’t force the match to end is because survivors would be denied their Rift challenges - especially those pertaining to the end game.
Now tell me what a slugged survivor is supposed to do, if the whole team is slugged and no one has an anti-slug perk equipped. And that’s up to four minutes.
1 -
The absolute worst kind is people who stay behind until the very last second and deliberately try and get the killer's attention by spam vaulting/exiting lockers. What does this achieve, exactly? A quick little fix of dopamine from rubbing your win in someone's face? As a survivor main I absolutely hate seeing others do this and always make a point of leaving as soon as I know everyone's safe/the game's officially over.
It's so satisfying when this behavior backfires and the killer gets a last-minute hook/kill or a Blood Warden play. 🤣

You don't have to stay after you open the gate leave roam the map.
Don't think or pay attention to them before you know it they left.

That doesn’t work when a survivor finds the hatch before you though. I had a match yesterday where I killed three survivors and went looking for the hatch. Check the shed, check the main building, no hatch. I hear explosions, which is the last survivor signaling “I found the hatch and I’m not going to leave until you come watch me do it!” I intentionally took a long way around the map to see if they would just leave but they just fast vaulted or whatever some more until I finally got in sight of them and then they hopped down the hole.
Yeah, I’ll never understand this psychological compulsion a lot of survivors have to not leave the match unless the killer sees them do it. Bizarre.
2 -
But I wasn't talking about the hatch.
The hatch you have no choice but to push them out.
1 -
I know, that’s why I brought it up.
0 -
How often does that happen, really? I think I can count on one hand the number of times I was intentionally slugged to death. Most of my bleed outs were the result of me crawling too far off and the killer not being able to find me.
I'm not really bothered by exit gate tbaggers (I usually just drive them out), but they're in like 80% of games you don't 4K.
1 -
But why?
Because there's no countdown for the hatch?
1 -
Right, there’s no countdown on the hatch so hypothetically if the survivor is stubborn and just stands on the hatch and you don’t force them out the game never ends.
0 -
Just force them out. They’re pathetic but if you’re that salty that you lost 1 game that you can’t even look at them and hit them to get some extra BP that says more about you than the survivors.
1 -
What if the last survivor is trying to do Left For Dead trophy/achievement?
It's not that big of a deal just force them out it's no different if the killer found the hatch and just stood there waiting for the survivor and didn't close it.
0 -
Literally every single time I do that they just stand there until the last second of the countdown timer no matter how nice I was in game , even if I'm all the way across the map.

Hi dugman how ya doing ?
0 -
The other thing you can do after you open the gate is...
Get a snack
Take a look outside
Get something to drink
YouTube
Do some push-ups
They are only doing it because they know it bothers certain players. If you you're doing something else all they're doing is wasting their time.

Yeah I've had that thought a thousand times. My exact idea is a "Dark Glyph" spawns for killer in the same spot the "White Glyph" spawns for surviors in the basement that can be interacted with as soon as gates are open. You have to interact with it for 3 seconds, then the game ends. Anyone who isn't dead getting a free gate escape.
Not sure why this isn't in the game already. Similarly for survivors, they could detect if there were 0 players who can self-pickup, 0 players who have active decisive strike, and 0 players with an active Deliverance, and everyone is downed or on hook. If this happens, it gives the survivors the option to "Surrender", needing only 3 votes if there are 4 survivors, otherwise unanimous vote. If the survs vote "Yes", everyone gets sacrificed as if they went on a hook.
It would need a few restrictions so you couldn't prevent a mori by instant surrendering etc, but I really don't see the point in the whole "walk around the map to find survivors who have crawled to hidden spots for 3 minutes after everyone is downed" part of the game. Kinda stupid. Same as getting slugged for 4 minutes.
If they're so desperate to improve queue times, it's kind of sad they don't understand that players being kept in a match for 4 minutes when they were slugged the first 2 minutes means fewer players in queue, as well as longer queues for everyone.

Use the Deathslinger, lol. Nothing quite like pulling an injured teabagger back out (or off the hatch, which is a chef's kiss moment). You can also hit exit gate lurkers through the walls with Pyramid Head and Artist without giving them the satisfaction of being seen, which is really all they want. Mommy didn't pay these people enough attention, apparently.
But seriously, just push them out if you can, especially if there are survs still in the map. Not everyone waits there just to teabag. I've seen killers lose kills because they didn't push survs out when they had the chance. I never (okay, very rarely, and only when it is richly deserved) teabag at the gates, but I almost always wait until everyone else is out to leave, just in case I can still make a play.

That achievement requires you to activate the last generator and get out the gate as the last survivor. It has nothing to do with them standing on top of the hatch and not going down it until the killer sees it happen.
And I didn’t say it’s a “big deal”, I said it’s bizarre behavior.
1 -
I know what the trophy is you wanted a countdown (EGC) when the hatch spawns in
If you have a countdown (EGC) when hatch spawns in then it makes that trophy hard to get done. Especially lets just say it was a 1 min. instead of 2 min.
A killer stand on hatch and not closing it is the same as a survivor standing on hatch and not leaving.
This topic wasn't about the hatch it was about the exit gates.
😂 I said it's not a big deal pay attention just push them out!
0 -
I never said I wanted a countdown when the hatch appears. Where are you getting that from?
And why do you keep implying I said it’s a big deal? I already said it’s not, I just don’t get why survivors do it.
0 -
Doing ok, thanks!
0 -
Right here you said it

Sometimes survivors can be hard of understanding. To drive the point that I'm choosing to spare them I usually down them, pick them up, hit a hook with an M1 and drop them in front of it.
Usually the shame of being left on the ground in front of a hook is enough to let them understand.
0 -
I said “there’s no countdown”, I didn’t say I want one added.
0 -
Its not that I am that "salty that I can't even look at them", its more of a "don't feed the troll" situation. I know that its an impossible fight, but I won't support their toxic ways by giving them what they want. At every point they can just leave and save everyone involved time. If the killer doesn't walk any closer in the first 20s, its pretty save to assume that they won't show up later, but for some survivors the urge to BM is jsut that stronk.
0 -
Well, it's just how I took it
Next time stay on topic and misleading mistakes won't happen
0 -
I was staying on topic. The topic was survivors hanging around for no reason when they can just leave. I gave an example I had of someone who did this with hatch last night. Perfectly on topic, why you think it’s not I have no idea. 🤷♂️
And why you’re blaming me for you misreading something I said I also don’t get but whatever, I’m done replying.

Don't open the gate. Try and kill them. Endgame for me can be some of the most intense and enjoyable parts of DbD. Also, the teams that crush generators are very likely to be highly altruistic. You get one hook in endgame and you can turn it into 2-4k sometimes and it is super satisfying. Survivors often enjoy this part of the game as well, trying to save their teammates and get a 4-man escape.
When you do get to the where survivors are sitting on the gate don't let it get to you. Just go to the gate walk at them and try and hit/down them. Either they let you do it and you get some more points or they leave. Many survivors are actually trying to be nice when they sit at the gate to give you a couple downs when they beat you really bad (even the ones teabagging and such sometimes).

It's what you said and what it sounded to me. " Right, there’s no countdown on the hatch" How else am I suppose to take that?
You messaged me first you could of just posted your story without involving me.
0 -
Except you’re not feeding them since you’re getting BP by hitting them and you force them out so they don’t waste your time. It’s a win - win. The only reason people don’t do it is because they’re salty they lost and just want to go to the next game.
0 -
Your post just made me envision you opening the exit gate, and walking out of the trial in disgust. 🤣🤣🤣
lol that might not be a bad idea actually… maybe hit a button prompt to submit when the entity puts up its wall. Maybe it can devour the killer and allow him to move on, while survivors stay and play around until the EGC timer is done.

And I ABSOLUTELY would lmao like y'all won but let's get tf on
