I haven't been this excited for a new chapter in a long time. I can't wait.
I'll be getting the whole chapter dlc as usual. What I'm most interested in it is Wesker.

Day one buy for me. I'll have to play the ptb to see just how well the perks synergize with others, but the characters are more than enough to justify my purchase.
Rebecca is my most anticipated addition. I can finally stop using my Silent Hill characters for my healing builds.

This might be the first DLC I buy at full price for this game. We'll see after the PTB and how good the character perks are, but the characters themselves seem cool aesthetically.
6 new survivor perks to try out seems like a good deal to me since the perk rework has allowed me to run more fun builds now.

I am happy for that more people are gonna play Rebecca. She is so cute and i am glad finally more people will know about her.

She was one of my favorite things in Resident Evil one. I love side characters who stand on their own and really help you out.

Not massively into RE (only played a couple of the games and seen the first few movies) but Wesker looks like he's going to be a pretty good killer one way or another. Even if he's not particularly strong, his power looks fun.
Not sure why we keep getting two survivors though, there's already way too many survivors with way too many redundant and useless survivor perks created for the sake of giving every survivor 3 perks. Rebecca could have easily been a legendary skin for Ada.

Not likely, killer can't tell it's in play, so they likely won't notice it at all, the effect of it on the game would be identical to SWF call outs or a particularly attentive survivor. That's like saying Kindred is complained about.
Wiretap will be useful, like Kindred, but it won't be one that bothers killers.
Hyperfocus is much more likely to be the "problem" perk. It makes already strong survivors even stronger, while being useless for mid-low survivors.
Reassurance isn't too bad either. It's a Camaraderie/Kinship that actually useful, because it's triggered by the survivor attempting the rescue, not used by the hookee as an insurance policy that doesn't announce it's presence to other survivors.
Reactive Healing is also a decent perk, probably something that's on par with Resurgence or Inner Healing. Not one that's particularly problematic for killers, but it's yet another healing perk and stacking healing perks is always very effective for survivors. Healing is after all the survivors version of slowdown, it rolls back the killers partial progress to their main objective, killing.
The two survivors each have two decent, worthwhile perks. Pretty good survivor chapter tbh.

Actually I feel reassurance could be a bit troublesome In endgame where the killer has to camp
Hyperfocus probably won't become a problem because of how easily you can lose the stacks. There have been multiple times in which the gen always gives a skillcheck when you get off of it.
Reactive Healing I don't see being good at all thr range seems too small.
Wiretap could be a bit of a problem when paired with open handed but it's like Kindred like you said so probably nothing to worry about
Both have solid perks with the occasional one bad perk nearly no one will use.

Love RE and I do really like the map! My worry is splitting the map in two parts making it smaller. I would have rather kept that amazing classic big map and made it more easy to get around. If we have one map that is too big, ok but it's a classic as I said even if it gives some killers a big big challange, but the game should have these very different types of maps.
But RE, Silent Hill the more we get from these games just bring it!

32m is a terror radius, that's pretty decent range for Reactive Healing.
I imagine pairing it with Resurgence could lead to some really useful, lucky breaks. Imagine getting unhooked with a hook trade, you immediately gain 85% of your health. You can either top that last bit up, or maybe someone else goes down and you're insta-healed, allowing you to go for the rescue right away and basically resetting the game state.

Iām basically the farthest thing from a RE fan but Iām quite exited for this. BHVR are clearly putting a lot of effort into it which I respect

Reactive Healing doesn't have a cooldown do that could actually be good. I wonder if it works while slugged

I'd be very surprised if it got you past the last 5% without UB/SG/NM.

I imagine killers would be running forced penance and that new Wesker perk in order to counter it if it does go past the 5%.
