Stutter, FPS drop and Bad Performance

Hey! Am I going crazy? Since last patch the Performance got worse. I get frequent micro freezes, stutters and frame Drops in a Match.

(Ryzen 5 3600 /Rtx 2060 super / 16 gb RAM /Game is on Nvme Ssd)

Do you have these issues too?

Ive had all of the above for the past year and my rig is even better than yours using a 9900k and a 3070 with 32gb ram. Ive just concluded its bad optimization as other games look and run a LOT better

I noticed it got way worse after the 5.5.2 update. It actually was better before.

It’s so pathetic at this point. Why does this game run so poorly???

same problem the game has become unplayable for me. Huge FPS drops, i go from 120 to 20 in 1 second. and it is only on DBD, other games are fine.

Well i have this issue now for little less than a year and yes, it does get worse with every update.

Im at the point where i changed and tested every single component in my rig to exclude a hardware issue. The only thing i didn't do is changing my platform (AMD to Intel). And thats not all. I tested different bios versions, different gpu drivers, unoffical modded drivers, windows reggit tweaks, not to mention how many times i did a completely fresh install of windows with latest drivers. Hek i even changed my HDMI cable at some point just to have one more thing that i can test. It's drving me crazy.

    Right now im running:

    Ryzen 5 5600X @4,6GHz / 16 Gb DDR4 @3600Mhz / Vega 64

The only thing that makes DBD a little smoother for me is running it in true fullscreen mode. But still, it's a stuttery and laggy mess.

I am running a very similar rig, and after the last update, my PC goes from the normal 75FPS down to 20 and back and forth. Meanwhile, other games still run great, my GPU/CPU temps never get high, and memory/CPU utilization stays normal - it's just DBD, and I am only commenting in hopes that BHVR actually does something about it.

I don't notice anything. I play on Xbox Series X and everything run fairly smoothly.
