Not fun
I hope someday they can fix MMR or something . Every match is either me absolutely getting destroyed by a 4man SWF or me destroying some noobs with decent perks . Honestly it's frustrating to not know where I sit at all in terms of skill.
I think I'm going good for a match or two and then boom I get a savage team on Ormond/game.

survs need no buff, killers need some of their addons to be basekit, killers are still weak

True. There are so many killers that need their add-ons as base.

If you STILL struggle with Killer, thats totally on you. Killer is the easiest it has ever been right now.

Not once in OPs post did they mention this. They are talking how jacked MMR is and venting frustration on that.
To your point and tying in to OPs, they can't realistically gather data for balance fixes for either direction when MMR can skew kills or escapes by throwing a killer against a team of combined 20 hour survivors then the next game with a team of combined 5,000+ hour survivors.
4 -
Quite the opposite. It has never been so easy for me as survivor.
3 -
That's nice, dear.

Yeah that 10% pallet breaking speed certainly helps a lot, survivors can't get to other pallets at all. Not that there are like 30+ pallets in every map right? And the extra 10 whole secs added to gens! Killers don't even need gen defense perks anymore right? Tell me you don't play killer without telling me bruh.

VERY true. I'm a killer main and I do not understand at all how people still think killer is weak.I was red rank 1 before update but imo it's much easier to hit that now. I think it's patience with a lot of people, they have a bad game and blame killer instead of themselves. Either that or it's survivors mains that switched after update lol

Wolf in sheep's clothing lol

Not really. Killers have little counter to gen rush now. Sure there is stil regression but the most meta builds have been nerfed. Remember how noed could carry games or how PR+DMS was effective (45s was a lot, 30s is a significant nerf).
OTR is better than old DS imho and you can stack them…
BT is basekit, it is way easier to bodyblock for someone else. Soon a S tier anti camping perk.
Nurse addons are getting nerfed. Soon Blight because survivors will realize how easy you can get value with him for little effort compared to Nurse.
What more do you need to win as survivor at this point ?

A competent team of people that can have more information on what's going on in the game besides someone being hurt or hooked. All you mentioned is pointless if there can't be some type of coordination.

LMAO I was sure you were going to say this. I was going to finish by writing "you just need good teamates but they have the same MMR as you so get good and it will get better".
It’s exactly the same complaint in others games with MMR, League of Legend, Overwatch, you always have players complaining about teamates, which is cringe because they have the same ranking as you…
What you learn in this games is that some games are unwinnable because of your team (40%), some games you will get carried (40%) and only for the rest your impact will matter (20%).

Seems like you are the only person on this planet who thinks that the Patch was survivor-sided.

I have more hours on Killer alone than most DBD-Players in DBD overall. But yeah, currently I play less Killer because I am stuck in Killer queues for so long...

You have no stats. And you playing killer ? What a joke. You are probably a huntress main trying to get fancy hatchet hits and letting all survivors leave the trial at the end, nodding with them like the 5th survivor you are. Because the game must be fun for everyone right.
1 -
Wrong, killer is only easy if the survs are trashcan, like always were. If the sufvs have basic game sense, survs are at power, must maps are survivor sided and the loops are braindead. Focus on what matters

Discipline should be basekit for doctor

lets be real... survivors are still stronger than killer at higher levels. we all knows that. And ormond can really suck and mmr is all over the place. just because someone struggles against a really good team doesnt mean they are bad or that its on them. it definitely sucks to have a 4 man bring a good offering and just split pressure effectively. I KNOW you know that since youre a forum vet

no stats? what you think everyone has the same name on here as their game name? XD aven has been on this forum a while and with time on the forum it means time in the game, sorry but dont insult someone over your lack of knowledge and also, nothing wrong with huntress mains trying to get fancy shots. one of the most fun you can have on both sides is going against a sniping huntress, and also very fair

Lmao, getting an answer from you is such an honor.

I wouldn't say it's survivor sided overall, but don't discount the ways survivors have benefitted just because the killer has received a few minor buffs.
The 10 extra seconds of gen time has done absolutely nothing. 'Genrushing' is as real and effective as it ever was (in as much as it requires the same level of devotion to repairing gens as it always has). Especially now that most of the slowdown/regression perks have been nerfed into the ground. Ironically all the healthy ones that stopped killers camping like Ruin, Pop and Pain Res. Oh well.
The next most effective killer buff was the reduced speed boost survivors get after being hit. But this alone doesn't make much of a difference if the survivor still has time to make it to some kind of obstacle, which they often do, at which point the chase is reset anyway and you're not saving any extra time. Combined with the DS nerf this makes DS much less useful, but that doesn't really matter because now OtR is much more effective anyway.
Finally, the 0.2s reduction of basic attacks is virtually unnoticeable. It makes animations feel slightly smoother, but it doesn't give any tangible benefit. It makes hook trades easier? They were never difficult.
Don't downplay how effective a basekit BT is, or how prevalent all the new Endurance effects are. I find myself hitting an Endurance multiple times every single game, whether it's Dead Hard (evidently not dead at all), or an OtR I didn't expect, or maybe even a styptic or MoM.

Yeah if every survivor would be in swf and everyone would be insane loopers and very coordinated. But that's rarely the case so most if the time survivors are weak instead killers. Killers are only weak at very high level but the game should not be balanced around that too much. But there should be more S tier killers thought oni should be one. And some very weak ones could use a buff.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other.
Though I suppose it's been very killer sided because half the survivors are DCing the moment they load in and see that there's a killer in their game.

Oh no it's the players.
My solo games where everyone actually tries to play are absolutely fine.
I cannot count the number of games where one survivor DCs early and then we still repair about 4.5 gens, before the killers added pressure from the 1v3 wins out.
Or the killer games I have where I plan to take it easy, giving them a real chance to escape, but they still give up and force me to end them all early, robbing the other three survivors of an escape.

Must maps are survivor sided and braindeadly safe, killer needs buffs in general, every killer besides nurse and blight, make some of their addons to be basekit for them, like discipline on doctor for example.

Oni should have longer blood fury and faster movement add ons as basekit. Also he could be first 120% movement killer he start as m1 with no antiloop and is weak at early games which matters the most. I would like to see oni start with his power as iri add on. Other iri could be revealing survivors location when he downs one in blood fury. His starting blood fury could be 30-40s. Longer could result him downing everyone at start sometimes but nurse does that already though. This add on would make oni better than blight as it removes his weakness but it would be still rare so I think it would be fine.

GF is incredibly weak. The matchbook seriously needs to be basekit. Takes way too long to restealth with how it easy it is to be revealed with them buffing survivor reveal power awhile back.

Not a bad idea. Oni can be pretty weak if the survs are actually good.

I agree. I'm a survivor main and dump the majority of BP into the survivor side. I level my killers to 15 so I can get whatever 4 rank two perks are available mostly just to do challenges. I wound up at Gold II without trying. I show mercy a lot too. Pretty sure if I went all out I could hit red rank with my level 15 killer.
1 -
You have no idea what my MMR is. Also, my team's MMR, in 90% of the cases, is not even close to what my MMR would be. I usually carry the games but can't win a 1vs1 with the killer. It could be a server thing? Probably. Skill thing? Not at all. I'm either getting competent killers and pretty new survivors or new killers and competent survivors.

Killers need a buff, they need to reduce basic atack cooldown to 0.5 sec, they need to have 5 perk slots and 3 add-on slots, also gen should be take 300 sec to repair and killer should have 5.6 speed baiskit. Well, and also survs should have no perks and items. That would be balaced and fair!
1 -
Red rannk means nothing, that's not indication that you are at high mmr, it was easy to hit red rank 1 ever since they removed ranking system last year.

I think the reason they don't show everyones mmr (like every other game) is because it'd expose how awful the matchmaking is. You will see baby survivors/killers mixed with pros in the same game. I saw a survivor run through a jungle gym and have no idea how to use the vault or pallet and just go down. It's a big mess that not enough people are talking about. The update would be fine if I could just get other survivors that don't get hit within the first 15 seconds of every game.
1 -
I've noticed alot of survivors when they talk about the buffs they Luke to use the 10% ad the example which looks like a decent buff. But when you put it into context and say that it's a .2 second buff I find nothing but silence.
The problem with the buffs is they only make an impact it a small amount of situations. 9/10 the survivor will still make the next loop when you break a pallet or hit them. The 10 seconds on gens means nothing when you have 3 survivors on 3 separate gens. Survivors also got a few extra gen speed perks overzealous is definitely slept on.
