is this auto dead hard?

You come close to the Survivor as much as possible, at the point of hugging their backs, you wait like 2 seconds and then you do a quick short M1 and they DH. #########? How is this possible even with very low ping. It feels like cheats or big luck. I don't think there is possible with even a small ping for you to react in mili seconds to a short fast M1 attack right behind you. Thoughts?

How often did this happen? Maybe this was just a random situation.

sadly there is no way to tell if someone is using a software to cheat in that manner, auto dead hard exists, but the problem is there is basically no way to differentiate between it being someone who got lucky or was super patient as there are people who can time it perfectly like that. Or it being just a cheat someone used that detects on hits, so no there isn't really a way to figure it out at least as far as I know.

I was playing Artist againts some SWF because they played all decently, together and all had good prestige level with good items and addons and offerings.

They had DH and used it well but there was one case at the end game where I wait it out, hugging them and they still use it and time it well.

That’s auto if you don’t even see the animation while being extra patient

Survivors know you're gonna try to bait out their dead hard especially if they know you know they have it. To combat this they'll hold it for a bit, or at least the ones who are smart will. It's totally possible they just timed it right.

Think about it. Most killers will wait about 2 seconds and then M1. By that point most survivors would've already used it. This gives the smart survivor a general feeling of how long they should wait to use it.

You said you were playing Artist? In retrospect you could've tapped the power button to make it seem like you were about to hit them. If you waited 2 seconds and do this and they don't use it, then either that survivor is extremely ballsy, or they are using auto dead hard.
