Favorite Survivor Perk?

Desperate Measures has quickly become one of my go to perks ever since I unlocked it from the shrine. It directly counters thanatophobia and perfectly compliments my healing and unhooking builds. Killers can't grab me off of hook and I feel like I always have a med-kit on me.

What survivor perk do you love running?

I love fixated. Have been using it in every build. Also, Windows.

Fixated and windows are some of my favs too. I love running fixated with urban evasion and sprint burst.

Kindred. If there was any survivor perk i would consider essential it's this one. Luckily it's a general perk.

I don't really have one yet, so I'm gonna say Blood Pact

Recently it's lightweight. It's so good to lose killers easily

I wanna say Kindred but I really only use it because it's pretty much necessary as a solo player. Favourite is probably Overcome

I was messing around with that one on the PTB (I only recently unlocked it in the shrine). I feel like I need to run For The People with it just in case I can't get the heal off.

I'm really enjoying new Botany Knowledge, especially paired with CoH. Two slots dedicated to self-healing, sure, but both also help the team on their own, so it's a pleasantly strong pairing.

New botany is incredibly strong. I have no idea why so many people despised the change. If anything the quicker med-kit draining made it synergize more with Built To Last.

Heck, you don't even need that- I run a yellow medkit with the green + yellow charge addons sometimes, and you get two (+ a bit left over) incredibly quick heals out of that, with no perks propping it up.

New Botany is a really good perk.

No mither, it lets you die quicker if killer is camping

I can't play this game without Windows.

I really enjoy new dead hard too.

I also love running Desperate Measures mainly for the unhook speed bonus.

I've been in love with No One Left Behind as well. Gives me buffs during the time I need it most. Plus, the extra altruism BP usually tops off that category if I don't have it filled by end game.

My build has been BT, Desperate Measures, No One Left Behind, and Hope for end game unhooks and it definitely works well with my playstyle.

I don’t play survivor that often, but when I do I always play Plunderer Ace with Plunderer, Open Handed, Ace in the Hole and (just recently acquired from the shrine) Appraisal. Not because this loadout is awesomely effective, but because it’s fun to go in with a toolbox, use it on a gen right away, then rummage around for something else to use and see how that goes, and keep going as desired. It’s just kind of neat in principle to go in and scrounge around for cool stuff. 😄

Out of that particular loadout though I think Open Handed is the actual best perk though. Adding 16 meters to the ranges of all auras for all survivors is a huge buff to various aura perk. For instance, one of the new perks coming from the PTB is Wiretap which shows all survivors the aura of a killer within 14 meters of the tapped generator. If Open Handed is in play that more than doubles to 28 meters, almost as big as a terror radius! Or even more popular, it doubles the radius of Kindred from 16 to 32 meters, that’s four times the original area of coverage. Honestly, if I wasn’t so enamored with opening chests I’d run an Open Handed aura build with Kindred and some other aura perks just because of how well Open Handed synergizes with them.

    Windows windows windows.

but lately I’ve been running head on and flash bang with my buddy and we get back to back stuns and flashes. It’s quite hilarious.

I have really become attached to Resurgence. I don't think it needs to be reevaluated for tier class or anything, but with all the changes made, it's important to get healed as quickly as possible. Even if they don't have a healing buff it makes a big difference.
