Most survivor players are terrible
Solo survivor right now is unbearable. 90% of the players are so bad it's not even funny. They will go down at some point between 10-20 seconds of getting chased no matter who the killer is. They have no brains, no smart plays, no strategies, and no skill whatsoever.
And on the other end is SWF where you will win 90% of your games if all 4 of your team mates are competent.
Maybe just add an LFG system like most asymmetrical games have? I don't even know what the solution is to this, that most of your survivor playerbase are potatoes.
You nerfed survivor hard (which was good), but solo que has become unplayable. Is their any solution to this at all?

Yup. And they all seem to be on my team lately.
I don't know what's worse. Every single killer I face running back to the hook the second someone get's unhooked so they can tunnel, or my terrified survivor teammates hiding in bushes and lockers while the killer chases me all over the map.
The game is actually unplayable. It is a combination of a poor matchmaking system (way too many bad/new players getting grouped with good/seasoned players) and completely overpowered killer buffs/survivor nerfs.
I hope the negative reviews on steam continue and player numbers continue to dwindle. I would mori this game if I had the power to.

I once played against a Demogorgon that chased someone for about 3-4 gens, then just camped the hook. His noed ended up spawning right next to the hook and he camped both the totem and hooked survivor. At the end of the game when he was basically handed a 3k despite playing extremely poorly, he said ggez. I still think about him sometimes.

Most forum members are terrible.

The game is easy mode for killers. Survivors have to play near perfect to have a chance to win a match. Killers can get steam rolled the whole match and if survivors make one or two mistakes, they end up with a 3k or 4k. And that's with a bad killer.
Good killers usually steam roll the survivors no matter how good they are. See Hexy's stream and many other killer mains for proof.

At low level play, survivors don't even know that they go down if they don't mend and they instantly die if they don't take off their Reverse Bear Trap.
At high level play, only a pitifully small handful of killers are even able to get a single kill at minimum, if they are using a highly specific set of perks and add-ons.
It's safe to say the game is just unbalanced across the board.

What are you talking about? You don't even have to play perfect if you're running loops in a risky way instead of the safe way. The key thing is to keep pushing gens and don't waste time. No reason for their to be 3 people running to unhook instead of 1 going to unhook and 2 on gens. Survivors doing dumb plays like that, and going down in 10 seconds, is what causes killers to win, not because of anything the killer did.
Hexy and all these other streamers seem to get the easiest of survivors. I don't know why or how, but they just do. Their survivors don't do gens, they bait windows just to run into a wall, and they let the killer win while using perks like Spies From The Shadows and Mad Grit. How these killer streamers get away with playing so chill so consistently, I'll never understand. But trust me, they do not represent what high MMR killer is.
High MMR killer, for those who have never personally been there, it's brutal. You don't get to run whatever perks, add-ons, or killers. You bring the best or you get annihilated. Even when you bring the best, it's gonna be mighty close. There is no room for anything to go wrong. Too many jungle gyms spawn? You lose. You chase someone at shack? You lose. Someone brought Prove Thyself? You lose. They get 1 flashlight save? You lose. It's not fair. Too many people speak on this area of the game when they haven't experienced it and know nothing about it.

The game is controlled by survivor skill level, and survivor skill level is very binary. They either know the map, the loops, and how to chain the loops together or they don't, and the game really doesn't give them the tools to learn. The few that do learn are basically invincible to half the killer roster. Also, factor in that there's a new killer every 3 months, and survivor gets harder every 3 months.

If it makes you feel better, the game sucks for these inexperienced players just as much as it sucks for you. They're not having a better time than you getting caught in 15 seconds and dying almost all their matches.

So it's the survivors' fault and not the recent update's?

It has nothing to do with the nerfs in my opinion, because SWF has them as well.
I play Solo a lot and most of my solo teammates are not bringing team perks but perks that kinda useless now or perks for end game.
I noticed that most of them do not work as a team but as a loner, doing everything on their own. For example insisting on healing themselves even if someone is there to heal them faster. Which kills our chance of survival by 90%, according to my solo experience.
I've had a lot of games with players like that, who don't cooperate or ignore a good opportunity that could give us progress. I think these kind of players cause soloq to be tiresome.
Action icons on every portraits are desperately needed.

I mostly play soloQ and before the patch if I played to win I would escape around half maybe even a little over half of my games. Now, when I play to win, I am lucky to escape a quarter of my games. Anyone who claims this patch is anything other than killer sided, is just not playing survivor.
I mean I just played against a tunneling spirit with mother daughter ring, ######### am I suppose to do against that? Reload into the game with better tunnel perks? Oh wait they killed all of the tunnel perks, guess I'll just die.

Those streamers get often very stupid survivors, which i almost never get when i play killer. So i really think a lot of them just deranks to get those kind of matches.

Honestly, it sounds to me like you are one of those killer players using the strongest addons/perks/killers and sweating super hard to stay high MMR. And you do stay there, because you are being carried there by what I listed, but even now it is super difficult for you.
From someone who has always been rightfully placed in the highest MMR, after this patch especially winning is so easy it doesn't even feel fair.
This might be where your killer bias comes from.
Those streamers you mentioned are getting a stream of constant 4ks, as am I. If it is only you who isn't even though the overwhelming consensus is how easy killer has become...well...

And THIS is the main issue of survivor-gameplay. Not the "OP-Killers" or the "Killer-Sided Patch".

I've been getting a lot of survivors running self-care and spine chill, isn't it useless now?

Anyone with a lot of game time knows this. Most survivors you play against are bad no matter how many games you win. The land of high MMR where everyone is good does not exist. You only need to turn on a streamer who mains killer to confirm how bad most survivors are. Guys like Otz and Tofu definitely aren't playing against sweaty SWFs in every game.

Or you're just not as good as you think you are.
