Currently stuck in a 2v1 where the plague is unable to find us, but we also cannot do gens without dying.

How are your guys games going?

Pretty fun! I've been trying out dark Sense on survivor and all the "meta" perks on killer. Dark sense is actually really good vs. Killers with non standard terror radii. Basically won me the game vs wallhack Myers with the t2 build.

Queue times also seem to have normalized and are better than before? Very fast regardless of side. I suspect they tweaked the matchmaking algo tho.

They’ve been kinda all over the place lately for me. One match is a complete slaughter 4K with 2 gens done , and the next I get a 0k with a few hooks .

Terrible, i play solo and i have every match, poor team mates against high mmr killers, suicides on the hook, DC, trolling, mey solo survivor matches are so sad now, im playing 80% killer now instead 50/50, im sad with this, because i like play as survivor, but, for now, its unplayable, and BHVR is complete silent about soloQ life.

    Awful surv games today.

    Killers are not nice...

My Killer games are pretty chilled as i let a lot escape and only do my challenges.

also the 3rd time where a nurse has slugged in a 2v1 without whispers

but hey, "nurse games are so fun!!" right guys?

I played a few rounds of survivor and matched with pretty poor teammates. Died on first hook multiple times because they couldn't figure out a save. Constantly got body-blocked by someone at full health while I was injured. I managed to do my challenges in spite of that, so that's the silver lining, but I also don't care about anything in the rift, so I have low motivation.

Got matched against probZZ and his 3 man SWF on Lerys with Leatherface and got 2 hooks. Then played Wraith no bamboozle and got Haddonfield against more top survivors. I quit and now I'm playing Star Ocean 4

The actual high MMR players are doing just fine, and have been generally unbothered by the changes. Hell, even the mid-high MMR players are still doing fairly well. It's the low-mid MMR players (many of whom think or thought they are/were high MMR) that are quitting, leaving a higher percentage of low-low survivors in the pool.

I think this attitude is a result of most players having a general misperception of their own level, like DBD Dunning-Kruger. If someone is a survivor and this patch totally changed things for them, they weren't all that good to begin with. And this is nothing new, we are all familiar with the killer main who thinks every team they go against is a 4 person SWF hit squad, and the survivors who think all their teammates are potatoes and they are facing high MMR killers every match.

It's easier to embrace that line of thinking than consider that you might not actually be all that good. The reality is that percentage of players who are in the top bracket is very low, and usually people with thousands and thousands of hours.

I think that if everyone could suddenly see their MMR number, the vast majority would be in for a rude awakening.

I am not a high MMR player, I have no self-delusion about that, but my surv games have been just fine, save for the uptick in DCs and teammates killing themselves on hook. As a killer, I have been noticing more potato squads mixed in, but the (actually) good teams I go against are just as potent as ever.

Hoped onto demo with a spirit fury enduring nemesis rancor build for a daily got RPD offeringed 3 proves 2 COH and then got told to off myself for being so bad at killer that I would lose after the most recent patch. All in all pretty great first game.

My normal killer matches I did 3-4K mostly giving hatch. Then played one scratched mirror and all escaped. Then I did two basement bubba matches but survivors knew how to deal with it so I only 2K them.

My survivor matches wete bit better today than previous days. Had funny match were doctor chased me almost whole match without getting me. Also good match were we all escaped agains't nurse when teammates didn't give up and actually tried. Had some matches dying on first hook too but that what it is sometimes. Most matches you die in soloQ or duoQ.

Good, although I messed up one of my Demo games today (missed some shots, took a little too long in chase, wasn't paying enough attention to the gens I wanted to protect.) Got a 4k the next game with a Bad Medicine build though so it worked out (Coulrophobia, Septic Touch, Unnerving Presence, Distressing). 🙂

    matches have been sweaty af

killers usually lose even in solo games, just me putting down a boon means i can do constant bodyblocks for my team, so chases just dont end, and the killer is usually left with less than 6 hooks, and my solo team can usually get all 4 out

when i play killer i have to run a good amount of slowdown just to compete with gen speeds, and if im not nurse, blight, spirit or artist the gens get done regardless (maybe if i didnt run shadowborn, using a 4th slowdown perk would make games more winnable)

theres also a good amount of cheaters (all of which i find are survivors), and they all hold hostage, to the point ive made a second account to avoid dc penalties from being held hostage

I’ve been playing Spirit so it’s been fun.
