Did they reduce Billy's chainsaw hit width?
was sprinting with my chainsaw earlier and I see this kate on a gen so I aim part on her part behind her in case she runs backwards. She doesn't bother moving and instead of downing her upon impacting her I got nudged to the side and kept going. this is happening on a lot of what would have been hits back when I played him last which would have been at least a year before demo came out

They reduced his collisions with survivors and increased with everything else other than survivors. Op killer lmao

I did not notice any difference when playing as Billy.

when?

You are lying. Hillbilly is still an awesome killer in the right hands.

I think it follows the same logic as survivors crouching to avoid the chainsaw or sometimes not being able to hit a survivor that is healing another. For some reason their hitbox get's set off while their character model remains at the same spot. Could also be you hit the survivor in an angle where you have no collision on them. That can also happen when they're running.

Can we talk about how Billy's chainsaw hit starts at the top of his swing above his head when the chainsaw isn't near the player? It feels more unfair than huntress beach balls... er.. hatchets.

That's mainly a latency problem. On killer's screen you clearly got the survivor, but on the survivor screen it's like you're getting hit where you shouldn't. Server issue more than anything

Billy is paper thin when trying to hit a survivor, but he's a semi-truck around any map object. Definitely needed an overheat.

Any good player will loop a billy for ages, give a good survivor a good setup and not even the best billy will get them under 60 seconds, what are you on about?

He is not a good killer anymore. Look at 1v1 events. Even insane Billy players cant down survivors and forced to M1.

When maps and he got reworked. That was a hidden nerf for Billy.

Oh so were going that game huh?
Huntress and Trickster were nerfed too when Dredge came out

Adding a bad map doesnt makes a killer insanely worse though. But literally all maps got worse for Billy and his collisions messed up when he got reworked. Also sometimes you can just bump an already dropped pallet instead of breaking it. All of these thing were not in the game before the map reworks and 4.1.0 patch.

Far from it. Curve billy just isnt worth it anymore with overheat and the amount of strong windows and seemingly still increasing size of tiles.

No, its not a bad map that nerfed them
Now, knives or hatchets wont always spawn in lockers anymore. They only spawn when Huntress or Trickster are in play.
In all seriousness tho, all the spots that have weird collisions he wasnt able to curve or use his chainsaw properly anyway, like Yamoaka ruin tiles.
If anything Billy benefited from the Realm Beyond because it turned one of his worst maps to one of his better ones, that map being Ormond. Because when they gave it the overhaul a lot of the tiles became slippery, which allows easy curving. Any map he was good on before he is still good on, and most maps he struggled with, well its the same thing

######### are you on about? That isn't how any of this works.

If the billy mains aren't complaining about it I doubt it happened, there are some very good and very dedicated billy mains and if they haven't mentioned it it's like 99% likely not to have happened, these guys notice every change.

Have you seen billy's 1v1s against comp survivors?, dudes manage to loop them for minutes.
