Ada will be worth every £ I spend. Rebecca is an icon in her own right, so I know I'll end up prestiging all 3 of them to P9 and then return to my goal of P3'ing everyone. But I really don't know if I'll be using their perks, well, ever

At this point, nothing would surprise me. I mean, the RE map was kill switched for a month. Hooks were moved several times because of abusable spots, games crashed, framerate issues, etc.

I am excited, my wallet is not. We will probably not only get the chapter itself, but also some cosmetics. I don't usually care for cosmetics that much, but Wesker and Ada have a special place in my heart.

I did not ask? I was not saying that it is literally not tomorrow, I was saying that for me, when I wake up in the morning, on Monday, and need to wait over 24 hours for the patch, that perhaps this thread was phrased poorly. Of course it is technically accurate which I never disputed. I just think a reasonable person wouldn't make a thread implying that it comes out tomorrow when for all intents and purposes, it ain't.
It has that same energy as when people are like, "wowie, wow, wow, the last time I drank water was last year, tee hee" on New Years. Yeah, ha ha ha... So funny.
I am glad that you disagree, as always. It just wouldn't feel natural if we were on the same page.

I've been finishing tome entries and not cashing them in and only using enough BPs from trials to stay under the 2mill cap, since they announced the reduced cost for bloodwebs. Can't wait to burn through them all. I should have 3.x-4mill BPs in total to see how far they now go.

They are reverting Mettle of Man and they actually reduced the grind this time, so that's exciting. Altho since the first RE Chapter was so bad IMO, I don't have high hopes for this one either.

tbh i'm more excited about the cheaper bp webs. i've been saving up my 2 mil bp and double daily rewards to unlock 2 prestiges in one spending spree. Also the buffed endurance to unhooks, although i'm still not sure how much it'll help.

I've been waiting for Wesker to come out since the PTB started. He seems like a very fun killer to play as/against. Can't wait to try him out

Hopefully the killer queues will go back to normal after the incentives come back, 5-10 minute killer lobbies suck.

Unlikely. 100% extra bloodpoints just put survivors about 5-10K over what they usually make and the gameplay is still… questionable. Also Wesker is going to make the queue times longer.

Well after a few days when the Wesker hype ends queues should go back to normal. I just hope it doesn't take very long. The matchmaking incentives should decrease killer lobby wait time but I don't think it'll be enough. I'm glad they changed bloodweb item costs, now a prestige should only take about 1 million BP, incentives will help a bit. Still not sure ab 10 seconds BT base kit, with the perk it will be 20 seconds which is ridiculous. In end game the survivor is basically guaranteed to escape. Oh, I almost forgot, survivors are now the same speed as a 4.4 ms killer when unhooked. 🤣🤣

The tunneling nerf will surely help with queue times as well, but I do believe we'll need to see some nerfs to camping or some solo queue information buffs before we go back to some perfectly balanced queue times. At least I kind of hope that will be the case.
And a new killer increasing queue times has always been the case.

I am sure Bloodpoint Incentives and the tunneling nerf will improve queue times, but I wouldn't count on queue times going back to completely normal again. I think survivors will need just a bit more before that happens, either a camping nerf or solo queue info buffs.

Speaking of Resident Evil, does anyone has build that would fit the RE survivors? You know, like a build that makes you think "Yeah, Jill/Chris/Rebecca/Leon/Claire/Ada would definitely run these perks."

ds, blast mine, wiretap, flashbang, smash hit, maybe parental guidance, pretty much just perks that let you almost fight the killer, maybe diversion to throw rocks at them after pallet stuns

I also think stuff like "Botany Knowledge" and "Dead Hard" fit the bill, the first one due to the overuse of herbs in RE games, the second for the ability to survive beating of monsters and other B.O.W.

yes thats true - healing perks would also fit
maybe itd vary per character, leon and claire being more of a mix, rebecca being more of a healer, and chris being more of a full on beating up a poor little ghostface

I've hit a bit of a burnout on Dbd, not because I'm fed up with this game, but because I was binging the Rift lol. Now that I'm 70, I'm on standby until RE drops ^^
Just PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE don't break all last gen consoles, and PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE dont let RPD be killswitched for a month, I need my RPD fix man. Please don't be a terrible map, either. That PTB RPD looked terrible.
