You know you actually have to equip Reassurance, right?
So far, I've seen nobody with it.

Because it's kind of bad now.
It's still okay but it isn't really good now. Not really worth risking a perk slot for.

It’s a killer perk now. You equip it and it’s 1 less perk slot and also you’re using a trash perk

Survivors are just knee-jerk reacting about how bad the perk is now just like they did want DS was changed so they couldn't work on a gen or unhook other survivors and still have it active. I remember the week after that change and no one ran DS.

I tried using it and the perk is honestly kind of awful. I've already stopped running it. The range at least needs to be buffed. Six meters is nothing.
8 -
It's because I'm not online yet :)

I used it for like 15 games.
It did not help against campers, i give up with this perk. Garbage perk. Thanks BHVR for nerfing it for camper killers. They are happy with all changes.

but the forums said it's a killer perk and that it's not worth using and that i'm throwing if i equip it and I can't use it in solo queue and and and...
Run whatever you want, or don't run what you don't want, but don't be surprised when you get a game where "Oh i should of used this."

I don't really know how to approach this anymore. There's a demographic that wants every advantageous perk changed so it doesn't really do anything worthwhile. Then, BVHR kowtows to the lowest common denominator, the perk is changed, it's useless, then they celebrate. The players that whine incessantly should be made to play perkless mode so they'll be accountable for once.

This perk serves no purpose and has no use. What surprises me is if/when somebody brings it
1 -
Range and duration should be buffed. Currently it's really weak
0 -
Solo I presume? The perk didn't suddenly became bad because it cannot be used ad nauseam.
I'm still hoping for an SWF using it properly. Maybe in a few days.

Reassurance is still useful. Just because you can't solo stall out a hook does not mean the perk is bad.
PTB Reassurance simply wasn't healthy as the perk rewarded survivors not rescuing their teammate. Worse case you have to hook trade, but if you are consistently hook trading and adding 30 seconds to every hook then the killer is wasting a lot of time.
2 -
Not really, i played with my 2 friends.
Perk was useless. Do you know why? My teammates knew i was going to use the perk. So i was only one who runned to hook. I used the perk. And then i back to gen. My teammates was doing gens.
Guess what? Game still ended with 2 kills. Average camper killer games usually ends with 2 kills. This perk changed nothing. So i can not see why i should get this perk in to trials.

i dont play survs that have less than 4 perks slots available

Think for solo-q it's not worth it, but swf's will be able to make use of it, if one person or 2 bring it i guess?
1 -
It requires a coordination for it to be remotely useful that solo Q simply can't have. And you and the few others who "defend" this perk as it is know this very well. Which is why you claim it's fine, because it does nothing, and you want it to do nothing.
It's going to be another perk nobody is going to bring, ever. And for good reason.
Another perk to the large pile of dumpster survivor perks. Together with pharmacy and the likes.

I am a facecamping bubba and I approve this message.
5 -
Keep claiming it does nothing when I've already seen survivors use it to prevent their teammate from going into 2nd state before the unhook.
1 -
It's not worth bringing over a different meta perk anymore. Used to be a single player could effectively use the perk (which made it so promising in solo), now it requires coordination you only get in a SWF.

Exactly that my man. You know perk is garbage when killer mains are defending it with their lives.
2 -
I used it on midwhich above the bathrooms today, was kind of cool. The range needs to be improved. I'd boost it to at least 8m. At 6 there is no way you're not eating a chainsaw from a bubba.

I didn’t watch much streamers play the PTB, and I didn’t read the perk description- so I didn’t even know it had to be manually activated. I thought it worked automatically like a reverse Kinship (Camaraderie). 😹
And damn you have to be close as hell, too. I don’t like that.
0 -
It's gonna be like kinship where it doesn't make sense in soloQ but I would not be surprised to see people start bringing reassurance in tournaments.
4 -
I have no idea what you're talking about. That's like saying: 'you know that each and every one of you needs to send me at least five dollars, right?'
We all know that nobody is sending me five dollars.

Nobody is using because its a trash perk
3 -
That's too bad. I had great hopes for that perk. Maybe it needs some tactic yet to be found.
Self-care is a very good perk, when used properly. It has saved my ass many times.
That's probably right.

Hi!
I see you are new here.
I'd really recommend looking at the various post histories of certain people in this thread before engaging.
Certain users are simply very biased, unknowledgeable, or a sad combination of the two.
You'll notice it is the same people complaining/saying the same things over and over upon a quick review of said histories.
Whenever a topic has an actual discussion/contains useful information, it will really stand out/pop off on the forums.

nah i use it because it isn't that bad. It does need a range boost though.
0 -
its mostly swf only perk. requires too much coordination to be anti-camp perk.

I've been using it for the past few of hours, roughly 8-10 games or so, just to stop teammates from suiciding on their first hook for another 30 seconds. I see them struggling, I run in and hit em with it, then if it's safe to unhook, I do it, otherwise I try to lead the killer away, or go back to doing a gen while the killer camps. It's especially effective in multi-level maps Like Midwhich and the Game, where-in I can run above or under the hooked survivor, hit em with it, and go back to my gen without ever presenting the killer a new target to chase.
Out of my matches today so far, I've had at least 6 survivors attempt the suicide too early, and using Reassurance to shut that crap down has been a god send.

Reassurance is amazing please use it since most killers camp, just had a camping Wesker and we managed to pop 4 gens whilst two different people were hooked but everyone brought reassurance we got so much value and it punishes the killer for their boring play style, like if u wanna stand and stare at a survivor all game then by all means do it for longer lmaoo, kind of sad

About half the survivor I verse who are using it, are doing it properly. Granted, it's pretty rarely equipped to begin with (I see maybe 3 or 4 a week)

Both very effective uses of that perk.

People don´t like it as they press "E" to escape and nothing happens they still get hit by the Killer then pressing "R" does nothing.
/joke (bad joke, maybe)

This is the big thing. This could be a great perk if the range was far enough that I could use it on a basement-hooked survivor from the floor above it.

I got some use out of it but it's not a good perk. The range and duration should be increased. Hopefully it's like basekit BT where they started out overly cautious and will buff it soon.
