I really like Reassurance
One of the issues I had prior to the update is if I needed to wait before unhooking or if I had to do something before unhooking, which is what this perk has gifted me with as instead of hoping the survivor I am gonna unhook happens to have Kinship/camaraderie, my only issue is that I have to be in stick poking distance of a survivor to use the perk, my only hope is that it gets a distance increase or something

Yeah.
The trigger range is a bit lame, I agree.
I don't know how they'd be able to fix it without buffing 'drive by' plays (currently the perks best use, as alluded to in your post) out the wazoo, though.
Glad you're finding success with the perk, too.....it's far from bad, despite the narrative you'll see here.
Then again, people are still sleeping on WoO despite its absurd utility and pick rate.

Make it 10M and I think the perk would be pretty reasonable
I've been using it as a sort of fail safe for making risky saves/using it to keep someone from going 2nd stage in the endgame. Really good for these kinds of things. Had a game where I was gonna go for a save on RPD but got intercepted, so I ran above the hooked person and activated reassurance to give my teammates more time to finish what they were doing and save.

I actually use WoO in my builds, makes life so much easier cause it lets you know if you are running into a deadzone or not

Totally unrelated to this thread, but I'm starting to have a newfound respect for users that understand the game/can at least participate in intelligent conversation regarding various perks/mechanics/etc.
Seems to be a rare breed, these days.

So far I haven't seen many people using it. If I'm the one using it another survivor will mindlessly go for the farm instead of waiting a second. Seems like people were using this perk much more efficiently during the ptb.

I've found some pretty good use out of it as well. I do think the perk needs a little distance upgrade and maybe 40 seconds instead of 30. I think it's a decent perk just could use a few tweaks.

Well, 14000 less people in the last 2 months in steam is a lot of money. But they don’t care. They only give stuff for killers. And 10 secs base bt can help, but the solo state is so bad it doesn’t help anyways
