What happens to killer matchmaking incentives?
I play in the mornings in Europe and my killer queue is 30-45 seconds, why do I have NEVER since the introduction of this feature any time in the morning?
I usually play in the mornings and if this never changes I will never have a chance to win this x2.
I think something is wrong...

Nothing is wrong.
Matchmaking needs 4 survivors and 1 killer player. So probably most of time survivors will have bonus. Even queue times starts to be close each other.

4 survivors are needed for a lobby VS 1 killer. Also 3 out of the 4 survivors will be out of the game before the killer .

So it therefore makes sense that the instant queues get incentives since that's where the lacking players are.

And survivor queues are faster than that, like 4 - 5 seconds. I am also EU player. Killer queues are still longer than survivor queues.
And like i said, probably survivors will have bonus most of times because for 1 killer player you need 4 survivor players. So survivors probably will be needed more if killers won't leave the game like pre-6.1.0 but i can not see this will happen.

Ive seen it like once or twice, most people in my region play killer though, been that way for a long time (excluding when Circle of Healing came out, nobody played during that time lol).

That's the whole point. 30-34s queue means there're too many killers, so why give you bonus then? If you play as killer, you make this queue even longer. There's lack of survs to fill all those killers' lobbies, hence there's incentive bonus to encourage them to play and make killers' queue faster.

I mean it works just Killer isnt the role who gets them often.

I have thought that it should NOT always be 100% in a role, but for example it should be divided if at that moment there were 50% 50% of survivors and killers, for example, in my case at least give the Killers 25-75% depending. In moments of long queues in a role, then give him 100% integrity

If killer queues are too long, that means there's not enough survivors, so the survivors get the incentive bonus.

I get +25% or +50% as killer in Europe in the evening. It's normal that the game will need more survivors.
What I have been wondering though: It says the bonus takes your MMR into account.
1) Weren't your individual killers supposed to at least slightly differ in MMR? How can the incentive be the same for all my killers then?
2) Does it calculate what is needed most in my very specific unique survivor and killer MMR? So that means if my survivor MMR is ver unusual (for example very high or very low - definitely the latter in my case 😉) but my killer MMR is in the midrange where most killer mains are based, am I always very likely to get the survivor bonus?
I don't know the answer to these questions but I assume it would also factor into the bonus you usually get shown...

That's not entirely the reason. Before the killer buff patch the queue times for killer in the early mornings and late evenings were instant, and the survivor que times were about a 1 to 5 min wait.
We had a ton of survivor mains leave this game after that patch, which shifted the need for survivors to last all day.
The queue times for killer may decrease in the early mornings or evenings, but since that patch killer hasn't had faster queue times than survivor.
Until they make solo queue survivor more enjoyable we'll probably never see a need for killers over survivors again, this matchmaking incentive will be exclusive to survivors. Solo queue is a pretty freaking awful experience right now, nobody wants to play that ######### as much as they used to.

Which means there are too many killers queuing, thus survivors get the incentive bonus.
The incentive bonus should always coincide with the side that has the shortest queue time.

The above raises even more questions to BHVRs actions lately. You need 4 survivors for every 1 person playing killer. Yet they buff the heck out of killer and make solo queue just straight up awful.
Solo queue players make up the large majority of BHVRs playerbase. I'm not saying things should be changed to make survivors more powerful than killer, but they've especially made solo queue survivor just so overwhelmingly awful over the years.
Before the killer buffs and survivor nerfs the entire community was already in agreement that solo queue was the worst compared to swf and killer experiences. Seems strange to me that they would completely ignore solo queue even after all of that feedback, then actively make it even worse to appease the minority of people playing killer...

You still need that 1 killer player. You can't just ignore the killer role because solo q is difficult.

Killers shouldn't be ignored, but their importance shouldn't be spuriously inflated either. The median kill rate has been around 53% for at least the last year. That means, despite so many killer mains claiming to face these 4-man SEAL team six SWF squads, most of them have consistently managed to 3-4K in their matches. It also means most survivors were not escaping trials.

The last time we were given stats it was the start of the year around the time mmr went live. We do know whether or not the kill rate stayed the same and it likely didn't since the devs specifically mention that the kill rate was lower than they would like.
There's no way anyone can say conclusively that the kill rate was around 53% before 6.1.0

Killers will get incentives when more people want to play survivor. If this system had been implemented pre-6.1, you can be sure killers would have had 100% every evening.

With no significant game changes between the release of the most recent kill rate data (an aggregate of games from July 21-Jan 22 as the devs collect & release six months worth of data at a time, correct?) and the release of patch 6.1.0, it is unlikely that rates unpredictably dipped below a rate of 50%. Kill rates have been consistently around this 53% for what appears to be several cycles of patching. The stats released on January 16 of this year are not just a snapshot of how killers did for a few months; they speak to a broader trend of performance that presumably spans at least a year into the past. Developer comments on kill rates being slightly lower than preferable doesn't mean the kill rates are less than 50%, and we should not assume that it does. Their ambiguous statement could mean that they envision a kill rate of 60 or 65%. I personally suspect the intent is to boost kill rates so that things settle around 50% percent when survivors receive their upcoming buffs.

MMR was a pretty significant change to the game. Let's not pretend that MMR didn't give killer harder games than they were getting with ranks based matchmaking.
Let's not forget boons got added to the game and CoH had to get nerfed twice, because of how strong of a perk it is.
You can act like nothing had changed since Jan 2022 and that kill rates were just the same the entire time, but you would be living in a fantasy world.

Exactly, CoH got nerfed. Noed for example, is strong since years and they dont want to nerf it.
Both sides had changes, but the recent changes nerfed survivors, made a meta shake up (also only for survivors) and honestly? Right now the kill rates are higher than they should. I loose 80% of my games in soloq.
Something should be done right now. Solo Q needs it and most SWFs who are 2 stack or 3 stack too.

You personally losing 80% of your games does not mean that as a whole survivors are losing 80% of the games.
Not saying that solo q doesn't need help, but you struggling to win games does not show there is an issue.

Same could be said on the killer side, for example your opinions.
But saw plenty of threads about this issue. Also my friends who play survivor have the same experience etc.

my survi queue its like 5 seconds and... my incentives its on survivors, I don't know why they don't put 25% on killer and 75% on survi.

Why should they motivate you to play killer if there's too many killers anyway? Incentive bonus isn't candy to split it between roles out of pity, it's a motivation instrument. And motivation instrument won't work if there's no real motivation.
I get it, 30 seconds isn't long for you, but compared to survs queue it's at least six times (!) longer. And that's despite the fact that actual survs' queue with 100% bonus is kinda instant and those 5 seconds is for loading, not for queue itself. In ideal situation BOTH queues should be instant, but even if we acknowledge the ratio (they need four survivors to fill lobby for one killer), even then the six times longer timer is too much.
Like you personally is going to play as killer anyway, without any bonuses, and imagine 25% for killers? You still will play as killer, plus a lot of other people will switch to killer role because they prefer killer side (25% for killers is better for them than 75% for survs). Then every person who switched will increase your queue time dramatically (there's plus one killer who needs four survs to be matched with and one survivor less to be matched with other killers).
Maybe you are ready to wait 5 mins of queue to get additional 25% bps (and be somewhat outmatched due to even bigger lack of survs with your mmr), but that's definitely not what BHVR wants. They don't want you to get bonus, they want you to switch sides. That's why there's incentive bonus for one side at a time.
