This Mid Chapter Better Have Solo Q Improvements

The Solo Q experience right now is down right unbearable, I don't usually complain about my games but holy ######### these last few days have been probably the least fun I've ever had playing Survivor, its either one of the Survivors give up early on, or the killer kills some one at like 3 gens left and now its a 3v1. And that point the others usually just give up. That right there has been the large majority of my games, even as killer and its starting to get old

Solo Q NEEDS something, this is ridiculous

It won't. Don't get your hopes up.

Much as I agree that solo queue needs improvements, I'm not sure what they could do to fix those specific problems? People giving up and the risk of getting just generally bad teammates are kind of the unfixable problems with solo queue, the stuff they can actually do (like increased passive information sharing) aren't really going to stop those things from happening.

Probably not, but at the very least, having Kindred base for all survivors would be a big jump. And that's just one of the things that could be done. Whenever they will actually start thinking, instead of locking useful stuff behind perks that SWF doesn't need to use.

Give them more information and ways to communicate

Big reason why killers are able to get away with half the ######### they do right now is because Solo Q's just don't know whats going on, a series of unfortunate events happen and they just feel like they have no chance. There's not another game out there where the Solo Q experience is as bad as DbD's.

You're asking too much it's not gonna happen it'd be nice but, it won't happen.

It wont, the devs have already stated that solo queue improvements are not even on the roadmap for the entire year.

it's literally not even on their todo list.

things like steamer mode and disabling the DC penalty for their fog whisperers took priority...

you're best bet is to go play something else this year.

Like I said, I agree, but the problems you highlighted there aren't connected to that. People give up because they're salty or just don't care, not because they don't have information, and a lot of the time someone dying early is because they just aren't very good in chase- though I'll agree more information could help in some of those scenarios.

I just worry that BHVR could actually put in a lot of really nice Solo Q improvements but a lot of people will say it doesn't make a difference because it won't stop people giving up, and it won't stop their teammates from just being bad.

Of course they'll say it's not enough. It's never enough. Basekit BT with a speed boost isn't enough according to many. Adding 50% to a hook state isn't enough.

These people have a sense of entitlement entirely disconnected from what is good for the game and what the devs are able to provide. You can't force people to play the game and you can't force people to be good at the game.
