Best survivors to get

I'm wondering what are good survivors and how do you know?

    Kate. You NEED Windows of opportunity if you want to learn how to play survivor.

    You know based on the perks native to that character. Like the last comment mentioned, Kate is great to get because of Windows of opportunity. My other suggestions would be Zarina for Off the Record and Mikaela for her Boon perks. Hope that helps!

    Kate and Feng (who is free on some platforms) have very good and beginner friendly perks! For survivors, the appearance is actually more important, as you can unlock perks from the shrine and most strong perks are already on survivors that are playable with the base game..

    Female survivors have a smaller model and are generally easier to hide with. Some characters are very quiet as well (Ace and Kate for example) while others are very loud and easier to be tracked down by killers (Bill, Jeff, Jane)

    Kate is quiet when Injured and windows is super helpful in learning how to loop. Mikaela because boons are super helpful for the entire group especially with all the aura reading and sloppy thana metas. Rebecca for reassurance it’s just fun to use and a teammate getting camped out sucks. Meg because all of her perks are meta and useful. David and Jonah have good exhaustion perks. Laurie and Zarina for anti tunnel perks.

    As they said, Kate for Windows.

    Feng as well. Her three base perks are very beginner-friendly, particularly Alert to know where the killer is and evade them, and Technician when you're still struggling with skillchecks.
