I’m not the greatest player (only have around 1k hours between the ps4 and ps5), but I’ve finally managed to hit iridescent grade 1 today. I know it’s not the same as the old red rank 1, but your mmr still gets pretty high when you’re trying to get those last few pips. I’m just happy to have done it once… and without a swf!

I guess you missed the part where I said I wasn’t the greatest player. Also, it’s a game I play off and on. I don’t devote all of my free time to it.

The battle for rank 1 still get me creeps and spine chill, it was the most hard, infuriating, exhausting and unfun journey I did in videogame. Glad you did it! 💪

Maybe you are some prodigy and narural-born survivor (or just pulling our leg), but it took me 6 freaking months to get it and I know how hard it is and fully understand OP. I did all achievements and for a half a year couldn't get the last one, which is Rank 1 Surv. And it was the most horrible experience.
And I did it even before killer patch. The thing that OP did it now, my deep respects. I don't think it is possible now, at least for me.

Congratulations! I always play solo Q most of the time, it’s a grind hitting grade 1 every month but it’s worth it when you get that 1 million bp on the 13th each time.

People go at their own pace. They also said they've been playing since 2018 and have only 1k hours, which means they don't play the game too often and long breaks, which can contribute to being rusty at the game and you have to learn how to play again. And just because you did it in 100 doesn't discredit anyone who gets it 1000 hours in, let people celebrate without gloating your own success and saying what they did is easy, maybe for you, but everyones different. Thank you.

No offense or trolling intended - but you're still a newb among newbs where pipping, even in Iri, is pretty easy. Since everyone is still figuring everything out there are tons of mistakes on both sides that don't have much of an impact (=tons of points & pips). Rest assured, it will stop soon enough.
