Looking out for number one challenge on todays survivor tome challenge? What did i do wrong
Its saids to heal your self and escape. Was not sure on the escape part so i escaped chase and got the hatch escape. Then it saids to use perk 1. There was no name so i picked 1 perk then it saids no other perk i did that and got no achievement. What did i do wrong Thanks

I used self care perk only and escaped case then healed and got lucky and escaped through the exit gate and got the achievement not sure if only had to escape chase Thanks

I only equip Self Care, healed myself once, exit gate and the challenge was done.

I used lithe and got hatch escape. Didn't get it

It's a typo. To get crdit for it you have to equip only self care, use it to heal yourself, then escape.

Well that's annoying.
I equipped parental guidance and a medkit. I got to heal myself, but literally didn't even use the perk and escaped barerly.
I'll try to get it with selfcare and a medkit equipped and let you know if that works as well, because selfcare by itself is just 💀
Edit: You can bring a medkit (and whatever Item in that matter then) and it can be a hatch escape.

Would you mind sharing what platform you play on? I play on Switch, but the two times I did it (brought only self-care, fully healed with it once, and escaped—both chases and the trial through the exit gates), it still wasn't completing for me 💀

How bad do you have to be to forget to put in the name of the perk needed for a challenge?

did work for me with the following configuration
pc, only selfcare, no item, healed once completely with selfcare (oh god), escaped thru hatch (sponsored by killer)

In every single language too like it's not just an English-only issue but it's a problem in Japanese, German, AND English (and apparently, French and Polish too but I haven't checked those)

I mean, its probably a callback to the perk itself, which would be auto translated. So if you put 1 there, it would be 1 for everyone, but if you call perk_selfcare, it would show up differently to others.

What a very silly typo, hopefully it gets changed.
It is self-care only. I just wanted to chime in here and say, I had only self-care equipped, but healed myself with someone else's COH boon - and I did complete the challenge that way. Just a tip for anyone else who might Google this and end up here as well.

These "Use this trash perk with no other perks and escape" challenges I really hate. They are honestly so low effort challenges to create. Give me another Blind the Killer 5 times or such. That's at least a challenge worth doing. Especially with how Self-Care was nerfed, using Self-Care is screwing over your team.

For an update, I brought an item that round. I dropped it when I self-cared and still got the challenge. Escaped normally, not hatch

I thought it was pretty obvious. Equip self care and no other perks, get hit and heal yourself, then escape. I didn't use a medkit since I do not use items. Wesker killed everyone and I jumped in the hatch. Got it on my first try.

Ah man, just came here to see why mine didn't work. I used Discordance, will have to try again with just Self Care.

Also note: You do not have to heal yourself with self-care. You only have to FINISH healing yourself with self-care. I just helped my wife with this challenge earlier tonight. I healed her to 99%, she topped it off, and we ran out of the gate. Complete.

Not even that. You just need to "finish healing yourself" BY ANY MEANS and then escape.
Challenges that require having a perk equipped rarely require you to use the perk itself.
Just equip "Self Care" bring a medkit and play normally.
Or get unhooked and when you're healed to 99% press shift and finish the heal yourself (easiest way in my opinion).
By the way I think the description is NOT a typo but a "meme", judging by the name of the challenge. They expected us to "find out" which perk was "number one".

Discordance is a killer perk though!? Not sure if you confused it for a Killer challenge, or confused the name of a certain perk. So a heads up just in case, but it's a survivor only challenge.
