The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

We only have 2 main set up Killers, why stop there?
Trapper and Hag, the real full-time set up killers. You can argue that some other killers can be set up as well to some degree, but I am talking about Killers who work full time on set up power, which is only these two. Why stop there? It would be refreshing to see new killer with main playstyle being set up.
My quess is... People find these killers boring? I mean Hag is the second least player Killer but Trapper is fairly popular I would say (but he is also begginer killer and base game killer so new players might boost his pickrate too). Thoughts?

Both of these killers are extremely underwhelming. Why create another one when the two existing ones are already bottom-tier? Shouldn't this thread better ask for some buffs/rework for the existing two?

Trapper is very bad but Hag is still strong. Set up killers ≠ bad killer.

Artist is semi-setup. Freddy was. I wouldn't mind a new setup killer. The "boring" factor of them is really overdramatized, and usually comes from people who haven't played them or got good at them, and/or who don't know how to play against them or have teammates who don't know how to play against them.

No, because that's not what they're discussing.

I mean, you CAN stop there.
You absolutely can.
Nothing wrong with stopping there.
Perfectly valid to stop there.

Agree 100%!

Set up killers are annoying to play against and are encouraged to camp hard by the game. It's one of a thousand game design mistakes of BHVR.

Early game is the most important to get momentum going. Unless they change something fundamentally about it, having to spend it setting up blows.

Yeah it’s not a great concept unfortunately. The problem is it’s either too weak like Trapper or too asinine like Hag. Primarily because one can have their traps disarmed reliably and the other cannot and requires an item. A shame because diversity is good but not at too high a cost to player enjoyment.

Not really giving money so they forgot about trap killers and im agree.
The only way for I buy a trap killer is like he had somekind of fast as hell mobility mode to put traps fast around map.
I would make trap hags non one time use and maybe reactivate each 30 secs.

I would like another setup killer
I find them fun

I play Hag regularly and I would love to see more of her. Unfortunately, she's kind of easy to counter so not many people play her after having reached an mmr where people have already faced Hags before. Those who do tend to camp as well.
I wouldn't mind another set up killer, it's been a long while.
Also, I don't really like going against Trapper because, while I don't really care about setting off Hag's traps (I could be out of teleportation range and it could do nothing), it takes a lot of time to get out of Trapper's traps and if you set one off, you're probably hooked.
When I go against a Trapper, the next 3 games I'm playing I'll be ultra careful about where I walk, even if the killers do not have traps, haha.

Hag doesn't get much from camping.

IMO setup and trap killers (especially trapper and hag) lead to some unhealthy and boring things like camping being the only viable (and non viable) way to play them. No one likes dying even CLOSE to the basement and then losing because the trap killer has a basement build and decided to make it impossible to save while the rest of your team has to sit and slam gens then leave.

Considering that both of these killers when played optimally cause dcs in almost 100% of matches they are in...
